In this day and age it’s so refreshing to see a restaurant that has such great customer service while serving great food. Not only that, they really excel at everything. The food is great, the workers are super nice, the place is ran properly. I just love this company and so far it has not let me down. Lots of these types of restaurants are cutting back on portions and cafe Rio has been the exception. They are always generous and the food is always made fresh and right. Shout out to the man running the line at this location, what a wonderful asset to this company. He even came by our table and asked how everything was. For being a “faster” food type of place, this is ran like a restaurant where you would pay $30 for a portion, maybe even better.

Cafe Rio has usually been a great place to eat. Lately, they haven't had all their items available to add to their new bowls. No corn, no fajita veggies, etc. 4 people in line and one guy making food while 8 other employees are not doing much. ? Soda fountain isn't put together from the cleaning it received the night before. Maybe those that come 1/2 hour after opening will have a better experience. The items that I was able to get on the bowl were delicious.

Also, notice the huge chicken chunks in my photos. Not shredded chicken at all..... Trash cans were overflowing and tables were dirty.

My wife and I recently visited the Cafe Rio in Queen Creek, Arizona. There were only four people in line, including us. I ordered a burrito, and the employee made it and then set it aside without putting it in the heating element to melt the cheese. The employee then started working on a to-go order and did not take my wife's order. After four or five minutes, the employee finished the to-go order and came back to us. They said, "Oh gosh, do you want something?" Then they saw the burrito and giggled and put it in the heating element.

We then got to the checkout register, and the cashier walked away and went back into the kitchen to talk and laugh with another employee. After about three or four minutes, other employees started telling the cashier to get back to the register so they could ring us out. Our food was just sitting there getting cold.

Overall, our experience at Cafe Rio Queen Creek was very disappointing. The service was poor, and our food was cold. It seemed like the employees were more interested in having fun with each other than in serving their customers.

Recommendation: I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

I LOVE Cafe Rio!! This location is great. Clean and the customer service is top notch!!!

My favorite food is the fire roasted chicken burrito. Enchilada style. It’s delicious! I love that cafe Rio includes the salad and pico on the side.

I also get a side of queso along with it to put on top.

We live in San Antonio so when I come back to AZ I have to get Cafe Rio at least once! I fly out tonight so I stopped by for lunch. The service was quick.

Lots of options to pick from to eat from enchiladas, quesadillas, salad.

Also, the kids can get a free meal called little nino. It’s a cheese quesadilla.

We tried to eat here today... tried. Nobody greeted us at the counter, but I know she saw us. Then someone else came and talked to her, but neither said hi, let alone take our order, so we left to give our money to a place that wants it. If management is seeing this, feel free to check your cameras at about 1:45 or so, on 8.4.24. Unacceptable customer service. Previously I had given a two star because I love the food but always had missing items. Good food plus with repeated bad service equals a lost customer.

So good! Beyond good! We don't have Cafe Rio where I live and anytime I go somewhere that has one I will go out of my way to go eat there. I got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and it was excellent. The sweet pork barbacoa is the most delicious meat on the planet. The salad is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere and I've eaten a lot of salads in my day. I also got a sweet pork barbacoa burrito to take home and it too was absolutely scrumptious. If you go you must try the horchata. Cafe Rio has my favorite horchata out of any that I've tried. My mom also got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and the horchata and she loved hers as well. Our orders were made correctly but the staff definitely seemed bored and like they didn't want to be there.

Ok, so to be fair I felt really bad about this experience about 1 min walking through the door because it's was about 45 to closing but there were only 3 of us....AAAN DENNNNN 4 other large parties came in right after us....idk about you but I worked in restaurants for a very long time and the look on these kids faces when one party after another came in through the door I could feel their pain.... IYKYK right? Either way, the entire line stepped up to the plate and served everyone promptly and with great attitudes. There's also a feisty lil Mama San in charge of the whole crew and she was also very delightful, entertaining, and very hospitable. The food was great to top it all off.

Went in around 6.40pm on Sunday. Place was mess. Can't believe I left with $24 worth of food. The only good part of the salid was the greens. They were scrapping the bottom of the bins for toppings. It was really bad.
