DO NOT order the lasagna. Worst I’ve ever had. There was literally no marinara in it, poorly made with tons of grease at the bottom of the dish with the meat, very bland, I’d honestly rather have Kroger’s frozen Stouffers lasagna any day of the week. Overall, not impressed with Cafe Piazza. They need to step it up in order to be profitable in the future.

Visited this sweet little restaurant for the first time a few days ago. It is located just off the square in Collierville. My husband and I decided to go there for lunch after someone told us it was very good. My husband ordered a pizza and I ordered the eggplant parmesan. We also ordered the wedge salad to share. First of all the salad was so good! Crisp and fresh with a parmesan Peppercorn dressing. We had blue cheese crumbles added. Delicious! I loved my eggplant and my husband enjoyed his pizza. We both had leftovers that we took home and it all tasted just as good reheated. The staff were all soooo personable and helpful! I really enjoyed our experience there and look forward to going back. Give them a try next time you are in the area and see what You think! Ciao!

Very charming place. We stopped for lunch and had salads. I had the Italian tuna salad and it was very good. My wife had the Pat's salad with fried chicken. It was just ok. Service was good but we were dissappointed to hear a different server announce the specials to another table. Our server never mentioned them. If you go, make sure you ask what the specials are!

Went to David Grisani’s for lunch but they were closed! Yo David update your website and voicemail. Decided to head here as we had our hearts set on Italian Short wait to be seated. Very friendly folks. Great ambiance. Acceptable service for having only one wait staff. But the food. The food. The special for the day (crab artichoke dip) was pretty good. Piazza pizza (served warm, not hot) was ok. Albacore panini was not great (very dry). As for the pasta, it tasted a bit over cooked and soft. Crawfish pasta was a bit tasteless - maybe it needed more sauce or maybe I got COVID. I’m not sure. When I could taste it, it had a slight kick to it. The Chicken Alfredo - cream tasted a bit weird. I can’t place it. But the chicken strips were nice and tender. The single piece bread that came with each pasta was really nice and soft. For the prices charged (more than $80 after tax and tip) though, I’d provably give it a pass, unless you just want nice ambiance and maybe a glass of wine (fyi, from listening to the table next to me order, it sounded like they were out of a lot of the whites). It just didn’t do it do me.

My husband made a reservation here for our 24th anniversary. We arrived about 30 minutes early which posed a little staff confusion but we were accommodated. Once seated for an intimate anniversary dinner a large party was placed next to us with several young children. I requested to be moved and we were pleasantly accommodated again. I have wanted to try Cafe Piazza for quite a while and am happy to say it did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon, mashed potatoes, caesar salad; our appetizer was the toasted ravioli and my husband ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli with alfredo sauce. My dinner was tasty and without complaint-salmon was tender, not dry, mashed potatoes were tasty and smooth. I did not get asparagus as I do not care for it. My salad was crisp and with not too much dressing. The toasted ravioli appetizer was crisp, hot when served and the red sauce delicious. The wine selection for size restaurant was fair. The Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious and complementary to our meal. We were also provided with a celebration dessert on the house; the cannoli cream pastry was like what I had eaten in Italy and was delicious. The wait staff were professional, though at times a little soft spoken being a little difficult to hear. The restaurant was full, comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend to others to give it a try.

Sadly, our dinner at Cafe Piazza was a major disappointment. We ordered four dishes and two appetizers: lasagna, chicken parmesan, chicken alfredo, cheese pizza, cheese sticks, and breadsticks. The lasagna was a small portion for the price, and the shredded motzzrella cheese inside the lasagna was not melted. The marinara sauce on the chicken parmesan was bland. Inattentive server - our server had to be asked to remove used plates and empty drink bottles. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not worth the price.

The restaurant's location was great, but other restaurant choices on the strip would be better.
