Get the room rates in writing before checking in.||Upon check-in, we were told that there was military discount . We were charged less than $90 for the first night and got no receipt. When I extended our stay, that first night charge became $105.74. When we checked out, we were charged $119.59 for a Sunday and $159.49 for a Monday. Now I realize that hotels change rates for weekends, but our room rates were not in that regard. We never did get a military discount. Finally, when I returned home, I found that I was billed an additional $43 for the second day. When contacted, the manager could not give a good answer.|When I check out, with receipt in hand, I do not expect the business to continue using my credit card.|The good news is that they had a hot breakfast every morning.

Positive: Decent location, very clean. Negative: We arrived after dark, and it was somewhat difficult to find exactly where the hotel was because there weren't any signs on or around the building. The parking lot was very small.

They double charged my friends business credit card. We left our room to go to a gas station to get some drinks and snacks and when we returned we heard scurrying on the floor above us as we were coming up the stairs and when I got to our room door it was locked but had not been shut all the way and we heard a door right next to it closed
before we were in view of the hallway somebody was in our room while we were gone very very shady place I would not recommend to anyone we also felt like we were being watched in our room the entire night

I'd give zero stars if I could. Upon check in we were given an unclean room; they said the room should've been empty. But they did give us an actually clean room. Had to call for someone to come to the front desk for check out. Comfy beds though.

We were moved to the Antler Inn as our initial booking through booking.com had plumbing issues. We got to our rooms late after a very long day and went straight to bed. The next morning I found dried blood on the pillowcase, flat sheet and fitted sheet. The blood had not been fresh (mine) the night before as there was no smearing and the blood had obviously been dried for some time before I went to bed. I showed the blood spots to the motel clerk, who basically said nothing. No apology or attempt to make things right. ||After returning home from our trip, I emailed the Antler Inn, sending photos and explaining the issue, requesting a refund for that one room only due to the dried blood on the sheets. I was fine paying for the other room. I received no reply over the next week. ||This morning I called and again explained the issue to the person who answered the phone at the Antler Inn. This person said that there was nothing they would do as I did not escalate the issue within an hour of check in. I explained we had been driving the entire day and went straight to bed the night before. We were exhausted and I did not see the blood until the next morning with the window shades open and full light in the room. The person on the phone from the Antler Inn said there was nothing they would do regarding a refund and no steps would be taken to try and resolve the issue. The person on the phone from the Antler Inn then hung up on me without any further discussion, apology or recognition. He just hung up the phone. ||Other than the blood on the sheets and the way the staff at the Antler Inn has dealt with me, the stay was fine. I would have been writing a positive review otherwise. Had someone from the Antler Inn even apologized for the issue and attempted to do anything to make things right, I would have appreciated it and recognized it. Instead, they simply hung up on me when I was trying to discuss the issue. ||Stay here at your own risk. Just be sure to check the sheets for blood the minute you check in then report it immediately. Otherwise, assume you’ll get treated with the same disrespect that I received.

Positive: Convenient to where we were going. It was clean. Negative: Had to use a real key, only one per room. No breakfast. No elevator. Fortunately, we were on the 1st floor.
