It's really close to downtown shops and restaurants. Was happy to see the lady who checked us in actually checked my credit card against my license and my license to my actual face. Most places don't even bother to check. The little shop that you check into your cabin in is cute with a lot of interesting things to check out. The cabin itself was slightly disappointing. No coffee maker or fridge, so it's a good thing we didn't bring leftovers back from dinner, and we traveled with our own Keurig. A chair or bench outside the cabin would have been a nice touch to be able to sit and relax on. Knowing what I know now, I would still probably stay here again.

Buffalo Bill Village Cabins
We stayed in a cabin in the Buffalo Bill village in August 2024 with our 2 grandchildren, both are 4 yrs old. First, you have to understand that the cabins are over 100 years old & rustic. They aren't modern or like hotel rooms at all. If you're ok with that and looking for a camping kind of experience, then you'll be fine. If you're looking for a posh, modern room with all the amenities, then this isn't your place. Our cabin had western décor with John Wayne curtains. The bathroom in the cabin WAS BRAND NEW, the shower was MODERN & CLEAN!! It was definitely different from the rest of the cabin. We had a 2-room cabin, there was one bed in the first room and 2 smaller beds in the 2nd room. It worked out perfectly for us & our G-kids. They liked the experience. The cabin was very reasonably priced compared to the hotels in Cody. We were only there for one night, just passing through on our way to YNP & GTNP. It was the height of the tourist season, so everything was more expensive.

We booked this place on a last minute unplanned trip to Yellowstone. What an incredible location, super clean, comfortable and high capacity cabins at a great value. This place is a hidden gem, had amazing friendly and informative staff and is highly recommended! Walking distance to amazing places in Cody. Will definitely be staying here again!

Comfortable, clean, affordable cabins at a great price. Everyone we spoke to at the front desk and on the phone was charming and helpful, it really felt like they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

We stayed here on our way from yellowstone heading home. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean amd the mattresses weren't too bad. There's no refrigerator in the room we had which caught us off guard but there was annice machine available. We only had drinks to keep cold for our early morning drive. It was very affordable and when I make the trip again to bring our kid home from college I'll be staying here again

The most awkward and uncomfortable room arrangement. We needed 4 beds. The cabin we got had one full bathroom right in between two bedrooms with only one main door for exit. So if any one person was using the bathroom, anyone in the inner room was stuck and could not leave until the bathroom was vacated. This absolutely ridiculous setup I could excuse if not for the rude and unethical behavior of management (I think her name is Ruby). We reserved for 2 nights but had to leave after 1. I spoke with the third party (Expedia) who spoke with the hotel about getting a refund for the second night. The only thing left to do was get management’s ok. Because the manager was not around when we checked out, clerk asked for my contact info and I was told I would get a call. After 3 attempts over 3 weeks (each time being told the manager would call me back), I finally got a call back….”Ruby” tells me she already paid her commission and too much time had elapsed to make the refund. And she tells me this in the most condescending and dismissive tone …. With no attempt to own up to the delay being caused by her negligence (or deliberate failure) in returning my call. Plainly unethical behavior … it was a mistake choosing to make my family’s first ever trip to Yellowstone from this place.

Find another place if you’re looking to stay in Cody !

This is not one I want to write but feel very taken advantage of. We were in a bike trip through Wyoming down to Rushmore. We ran into a very bad storm with hail and torrential rains. We were in trouble and on the brink of losing my son due to hypothermia. Thankfully I had enough warm cloths to get him warmed back up, but I was now in trouble. We booked on line and paid for the guaranteed booking. Once I received the confirmation email I rushed over to get out of wet clothing and gear. I walked in just as the lady at the counter was giving our room away. I heard her say “You better hurry and take it before this other customer gets here, it’s booked but I can give it to you.” To which I asked if that was the room I just booked? She turned around picked up the peice of paper already printed off and asked me my name. I give her my name and she said well I guess so… and very ignorantly give us our room. To be completely honest if we weren’t in such dire need of the room I would have left. Why did I pay extra to guarantee the room when she was just going to give it away anyways? Not happy nor am I impressed.
