Pleasantly surprised! Some reviews were less than stellar but I have to say our room was very nice. The room was spacious. The bedding was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was very good water pressure for showers and we had lots of hot water. The desk clerk also stayed late, because we were running extremely late, to give us our key. He was very welcoming and told us we could stay later in the morning to get rest if we needed it. All said… we had a very nice stay. And did I mention how affordable this room was. Very budget friendly. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a place to stay. Centrally located in Williams Az, a beautiful and historic town as well as 1 hour away from the Grand Canyon.

Not a bad place. Recent remodel. Awesome bed! Nice clean room. Needs a place to hang your clothes though. And your coat! Great price for a one week stay also. It is also now Motel 6, instead of Budget Host. Parts are still being remodeled. 👍🏻

The hostess was very nice with a wonderful personality. The room (1) was very adequate.
However, cleanliness was less than acceptable. What you could see was good until I checked the corners. Some clean others very dirty. I dropped a water bottle lid near the bed. I used a flashlight to locate it. When I looked under the bed I found a dirty single sock and a used plastic glass and dust very thick. There was also an odor that I could not name when we opened the door. We paid we stayed. When we return to this wonderful area we will pass this motel by.

Tried to check in and the computers were down. Had to wait for the clerk to figure that out. Finally got to the room. The building is under construction, there is a roll off parked next to the office. The room was recently redone with new furniture and paint. But only 2 pillows for a king size bed and no closet or any toiletries. Also no coffee maker in room and no continental breakfast in the office. Within walking distance of safeway.

The room was not the cleanest, but it was bug-free and spacious. It is definitely outdated, but everything functions well enough. The beds are like sleeping on a slightly-more-springy-than-normal boxspring. The owners, however, were like split personalities. The husband was friendly and polite, but his wife was incredibly rude and short with us. Do NOT miss your checkout time or you face 1) the very loud and obnoxious singing of the housekeeper in the next room (thin walls) and 2) the wife calling, demanding to know when you're leaving and then saying everything is okay when you say you'll stay an extra night. She then calls again within an hour and demands payment at that exact instant without having communicated during her first phone call that they could not just add it on to your card. But, for the price, which was dirt cheap, I have stayed at worse for more.

Absolutely love this establishment. We have stayed here on many occasions and have never had any problems. The location is perfect. The owners are nice family people and are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are rooms with 1, 2 and even 3 beds for larger families. I highly recommend staying here. The price is the cherry on top. You can not find a place more affordable than the Budget Host Inn. A++++ for this place.

I’m only on my first of two nights here and I’m already severely disappointed. Our room was nearly $200 for two nights with three people, and definitely not worth that price. We have two full beds in our room. When we pulled back the covers, which we hadn’t used yet, one bed had old crumbs on the mattress cover while the other had stray hairs (possibly pubic hairs) on the mattress cover. Both beds have stains all over the sheets, as if they don’t use any bleach. We called the front desk to get new linens on the bed. The man (owner?) seemed disgruntled & hung up on me after asking what room number we were in. Shortly after, 2 people came to change the sheets but not the dirty mattress covers. Once I pointed out that there were crumbs on one of the covers, they simply wiped them off and continued to put new sheets on. Clearly hygiene is not a priority for them, which is disgusting considering the price. Definitely would not stay here again or recommend it, unless you like stray hairs or crumbs on your bed.

Basic motel. Don't expect a lot of amenities. No coffee maker in rooms and free breakfast is just coffee, juice and cereal/toast. The staff is extremely nice and kind. There give maps and info for grand canyon. Room was mostly clean and shower and sink were okay. If you just need a safe place to sleep overnight and want to save a few bucks this isn't a bad choice. If you like to stay in nicer hotels with amenities it's probably not for you.
