I was introduced to this place a couple weeks ago, went back again today, and will continue to come back. I love it! The vibes are lovely, the food is fantastic, and the drinks are great! I love finding unique places like this and it’s definitely something special! Would highly recommend!

I've been here three times and will continue to return. Great local coffee shop in Blue Island with a good atmosphere. I really like their bagel with the pimento spread it's delicious 😋 I got a cappuccino with light mocha, and it was good as well. I just think I need something stronger. I will try another coffee drink with an extra shot of espresso or add it to the cappuccino. Totally recommend trying this place out.👌

BUB cafe is a diamond in the rough. I have been searching for a cafe in the suburbs with good food and drinks, and this place fits the bill.

If it were open late, I would probably come way more often. Since they are closed Monday and Tuesday, and they close at 3pm Wednesday, Thursday, & Sunday, I’ll likely only make it in on a Friday or Saturday when they are open till 6pm.

What I had:
Soup of the day: Spicy chicken and hominy
5/5 this was so flavorful!

Drink: Cali Sunrise - I asked for it to be made hot (usually it’s cold)
5/5 this tasted like a nonalcoholic mulled wine/hot toddy. It is perfect for winter. The gentleman who made it said he tested it and might make it a winter drink menu item.

My partner had the burger of the day:
Burger patty made with lean beef and ground bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and pumpkin aoli (but be asked for it without the aoli). This came with chips.
4+/5 he loved this. He said it’s the perfect size portion.

To go:
Chocolate chip cookie
4+/5 I heated this up in the over for 5 minutes and it came out perfectly warm and gooey. I highly recommend you try this

They have ice cream, but it defrosted accidentally over night, so we will try that another time.

We came in a rainy Saturday around 15:30 and there was a spot right out front. There was also live music, which in my opinion was a nice touch, but perhaps a bit too loud. My partner couldn’t hear anything the guy behind the counter said.

They sell local artisan jewelry.

The decor is super cute. They had the windows dressed for Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween.

Wonderful place. Will be back!

It was our first time here today. Great atmosphere and friendly service! Hard to choose from all the delicious things on the menu. Everything is homemade in-house. I had their amazing cinnamon rolls, and my husband loved the croque monsieur. We will definitely be back:)

I stopped in on a work trip and I'm so glad I did! The owner was very friendly and made great recommendations. The winter sugar cookie butter latte was delicious and the chicken sandwich was also very good. I will definitely stop back in if I'm in the area!

The sandwiches are fresh made to order they even allow you to put your own twist on the sandwich(I added bacon😋) Staff was very tentative and great customer service, which is extremely important to me. I would definitely recommend and for sure a regular customer. The tuna salad with a touch of radish is “Chefs Kiss!!!”

This cafe just opened and close to the house so I had to check it out. I had to try the ginormous cinnamon rolls that everyone has been raving about, let me tell you, it was to die for. It was beyond delicious! I’m super picky on my coffee so I took a chance and ordered a latte, another winner. The atmosphere was so welcoming and laid back. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and nice. I definitely recommend to check them out if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
