Stunning, epic, relaxing. This was an incredible experience. I really feel like I got the best of Wyoming in a private peaceful way. The beauty, wildlife, and activity’s were brilliant. The staff were a very special surprise. It’s evident that these folks love what they do and are very good at it as well. We were treated as friends and well looked after. The food is sublime and worth any weight gain I might have had lol. My massage was wonderful as well. I was also thankful for really good WiFi at the lodge and in our cabin. This will forever be a memory branded in my mind. I’ll absolutely be back.

This was my fourth time to this magical place. As I compare each trip in my mind this one might just be the best so far. From pick up in Jackson Hole for a scenic ride to the lodge to the return trip the staff goes above and beyond. You would expect the activities, amenities and meals to stand out and they do but the Team running this lodge is world class five star. The management and crew look for ways to make your stay feel like it’s a visit home with relative you like and you look forward to seeing and getting to know better at ever opportunity. The horseback rides were jaw dropping beauty at every turn in the trail. Saddlebag packed lunch by a beautiful lake or on a mountain top is unforgettable. Having a guide that keeps you safe and looks for ways to make your ride each day better than the day before is such a special touch. Arriving back at the lodge for tea time and visiting with fellow guest before dinner to discuss your day’s adventures is fun. Dinner five stars each night. It’s the crown jewel on your already perfect day. The food is presented beautifully and it taste as good as it looks. Matthew the General manager recruited a team that gives the impression that they love where they are and enjoy being there. They seem to love each other and the beautiful lodge they work out of.

Our family of 15 went to BLL to celebrate a year of milestone birthdays and my parent’s 50th anniversary. We all had the BEST time! All of the employees are some of the friendliest, nicest people you could ever hope to meet. The lodge is beautiful. We enjoyed our shuffleboard and card games by the beautiful wood burning fireplaces. The food is some of the best you will ever find! Special shout out to our great guides-Eloise who led us on an amazing hike, Taw who introduced us to horseback riding, and to the best fishing guides-Boston and Jackson. This place is heaven on Earth, and we are so grateful for the memories made during our stay.

Absolutely stunning views all around, great drinks and the food. O the food. Starting off the Absolutely peaceful visit we were greated with a warm and inviting face of an wonderfully sweet and kind lady who's name I would love to have remembered. She walked us in showing us where we could hang our snow gear and gave us a quick and facanating history on the lodge only to be outshined by her smile. The seating leaves plenty of space between tables to enjoy your own time at the blast to the past in observing the building quality of the 102 year old buidling in peace without being crowded by the next table. Then the server arrives and greats you kindly to take your drinks and you look to the menu with stunning options and descriptions that leave your mouth watering for the entire menu. No matter what you order the food will be filled with flavor in every bite. From the appetizer, main course, but for the love of all that is holy, ensure that you leave room for the desert. There is only one item on the desert menu, so no need to ask what it is, just get it and know that you are about to have the best desert to have ever been served to you.

This place will forever be on my radar and any chance I get into the area, I will look to make all efforts to get here.

We stopped into the lodge for lunch while on a snow-mobile tour and it was great! I'd love to come back and stay longer. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was excellent. You definitely feel like time has slowed down and you are away from it all.

We spent a few nights at Brooks Lake Lodge as part of our Wyoming trip (incl. Yellowstone and Grand Teton) with Adventures by Disney. As great as everything on the trip was, it was almost unanimous in our group that Brooks Lake Lodge was the highlight.

Just for starters, the setting is spectacular. It's in Shoshone National Forest, surrounded by mountains and the lake at an elevation I believe around 8,000 feet or so. And when I say "surrounded" by mountains, that is very literal. There are rooms in the main building, as well as individual cabins. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always around to offer any friendly assistance needed...as are a number of very friendly and gentle dogs!

Activities are awesome...fly fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, archery and hiking. There are a number of different hiking trails to take, with a range of difficulty and length. When you hike or do horseback, you will have innumerable amazing views...make sure you have your phone and/or camera ready.

They have a full bar and 4:30 tea time every day, with full meals served in a spacious, rustic dining room. Speaking of meals, dinners are utterly amazing! Every night we had three entrees from which to choose...beef, chicken or fish (two of them) and a vegetarian. Food quality is fantastic and the staff is very accommodating.

Oh, and there is also a full-service spa! Massage options abound, and there is a nice outdoor jacuzzi.

And before I forget, on cloudless nights, the sky is an absolute panorama of stars! Beautiful!

We were there during late August, but the Lodge is open and active for the winter, as well. Just check with them to see what you can do.

Everyone at Brooks Lake Lodge is genuinely nice and committed to guests having a great stay. They go out of their way for everyone and seem to love what they do and where they are. A trip to Brooks Lake Lodge will keep you active and busy, while also very relaxed and away from the real world.
