We take an annual trip to Nevada City around Christmas. Once we discovered the Broad Street Inn, we stay nowhere else. This was our 3rd or 4th stay and look forward to staying there again! Rooms are beautiful. Coffee room has everything you need and Julie and Ron are wonderful hosts who will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Perfectly located to enjoy downtown.

We checked out this AM after Victorian Christmas. It was a real delight. The owners are fantastic, they kept a parking space for my arrival (was not expecting that at all), and the upkeep on the rustic, charming place reminds me of my home growing up in this area. I miss it and the town already. I will be reserving again for February here in a few minutes.

The only microscopic qualm I have is that the "contact" page/link on their website seems to be missing.

Julie and Ron, thank you. I truly wish I was still there. To all potential visitors, stay here. Give them your business. They deserve it.

Beautifully maintained property. Julie and Ron are so kind and welcoming. We arrived later in the evening but they still have us a full run down on the inn and town in general. They recommended activities for us, which we throughly enjoyed. We liked having a quiet place to go back to that was slightly out of the central part of town. We will definitely return to the Broad Street Inn!

Innkeepers were very kind and helpful. The room was just right. Very clean and comfortable. The coffee room was well stocked, enough to cobble a little something in the morning. The price was very affordable considering the location and the quality. Definitely will stay here again.

The Broad Street Inn is a wonderful escape from city life! We have stayed here before and appreciate the fact that it is quiet, comfortable and within walking distance of downtown Nevada City. Ron and Julie are very receptive hosts and provide what one needs to start one's day in California history. I highly recommend the Broad Street Inn!

To start, the location of this inn is within walking distance to all of the "downtown" Nevada City shops and restaurants. I was greeted by one of the owners, Julie, who is as friendly as can be, and full of information about the area. Her restaurant and hiking suggestions were spot on. ||I stayed in the Carriage House, a lovely unit at the back of the property. It has a large living room, fully stocked kitchen, very comfy bed, and a bathroom with a shower/tub. Everything was spotlessly clean. The whole unit is very nicely decorated and super relaxing. There was no problem finding parking in front of, or next to, the inn.||The beautiful garden is peaceful and full of flowers, attracting numerous birds, butterflies and hummingbirds. Morning offerings in the main inn sunroom include coffee, tea, biscotti, packets of oatmeal and fruit. ||The entire stay was wonderfully relaxing, although I found lots to do in the area as well! I hope to return for another stay at this delightful inn!

The Broad Street Inn is an absolutely delightful place to stay while visiting Nevada City and the surrounding area. The location is ideal for walking to the downtown area and the nearby Deer Creek trailhead. Our room was comfortable and super clean (as was the entire property). The second floor sunroom was nicely stocked with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and irresistible homemade biscotti. There was plenty of clean and comfortable outdoor seating on the front porch and spacious back yard. Julie and Ron are friendly, gracious and welcoming hosts. The Broad Street Inn's 5 Star status is well deserved!

My husband and I were in Nevada City for a wedding and declined the expensive National Hotel group rate for the Inn as it had gotten good reviews. What a great decision. The hosts were very nice. The room was perfectly located for a nice daily walk. Comfortable beds and just the right temperature as the house has one choice. They did provide a heater if you were cold and ceiling fans were above the bed. Also we had a tv which our family staying at The National did not.
