Stopped by here one morning on a recommendation from a friend while I was in the area house hunting. I got a chai latte and a vegetarian breakfast burrito with giardeniera added. Both items were delicious and the worker was super nice! I would love to come back and spend more time here.

Neighborhood coffee shop with a vintage interior, they do their own rotating and have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches.

The pizza bagel was really good and definitely should be on the top of the list of things to get if you visit.

The shop seems small but there's two seating areas in the back you might miss at first, connected via a small hallway.

Great space & coffee, very much worth your time to visit.

Amazing coffee house! The atmosphere is so enjoyable. It’s such a lovely place for coffee, I also enjoy their mango smoothie 💛 it’s a very nice place to work, very comfortable and quiet. Staff was very nice. The prices are average and fair. It can get a bit warm in summer afternoons but it also looks lovely at that time. Great gem in the neighborhood!

Great coffee place, feels really neighborhood based.

I got a coffee and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with everything on it, pickles, onions, mayo, tomato, lettuce. It was good.

My kid got a juice and brownie.

My partner got a tuna sandwich. He liked it.

I've been going to Bridgeport Coffee since probably 2018 and it's easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. Nothing fancy with whipped cream, just good old coffee drinks, non-sweet matcha, breakfast sandwiches, pastries from Dolce Arte, and can do attitude.

Also, I just want to apologize to the person who ordered a 'multigrain bagel breakfast sandwich with cheddar, bacon, and everything' this morning. I thought they had said 'everything bagel breakfast sandwich with cheddar, bacon, and onion' that I had ordered. I'm sorry I grabbed it but not sorry I ate it once I realized the mistake because it was delicious and I'm probably gonna order that next time. Again, super sorry but also thank you.

Lovely. They were patient with us (we are foreigners and sometimes ordering is a struggle to us). We ordered a cream cheese bagel, a capuccino, a hot chocolate and granola. Everything was so tasty. We are really going to remember this place we stumbled upon looking for breakfast our first day in Chicago!

Best coffee in the city, hands down. We appreciate their minimalism, simplicity, and dedication to an excellent product. All of their beans are direct-trade sourced from farmers, and you can tell they roast them with care and precision. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and expertly trained. Jack and his family have created a true cornerstone for our community that's withstood the test of time, and for that, we are forever grateful.

(Pro tip: If you're really struggling and in desperate need of a pick-me-up, their cold brew is basically rocket fuel.)
