First time customers coming out of state, and the staff was so welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing and Lauro was an awesome host. I had the chilaquiles and my daughter had the BLT eggs Benedict. I was surprised of how tasty everything was. If I lived here I would come here every weekend. This is a great place to bring your girlfriends or hubby on a breakfast or brunch date. 10/10

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cozy yet classy restaurant, which offers a delightful range of vegan options, and I have to say the “Chorizo Vegan Hash” was a standout!

Whether you’re vegan or just looking for a great plant-based meal, the chorizo vegan hash is a must-try!🤤

Breakfast House & Coffee Bar was recommended to us as we really like to get brunch on our days off, and I have to say that this place didn't disappoint.

I got Diego's Fried Chicken Sandwich, taste wise it was amazing, my favorite part of the sandwich was the jalapeno sauce they use. I've tried chicken sandwiches from multiple places and the sauce is always a variation of the same kind, not here though, they add their own little spin and it honestly pays off. The size of the sandwich is also above average I would say, enough that you can tell it is larger than a regular Popeye's or Chick-fil-A sandwich.

The salad that the sandwich comes with was also no ordinary bland salad either, it had a light coat of dressing that gave it a nice kick.

For drinks we didn't order anything special, water and some coffee, although if I HAD to list a negative it would be the pumpkin spice latte that my wife ordered. It was a little bland, barely tasted like coffee, barely tasted like pumpkin spice, but it was such a minor thing compared to everything else that we didn't care for it.

Lastly, the price was about $20 per person, which we all thought was pretty reasonable considering the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the comfortable atmosphere.

Great place to get breakfast or brunch, recommended!

Came here today on Mother’s day with my mother and I, as soon as we walked in we were welcomed! super friendly service and they were on top of things! loved the atmosphere here. I had also ordered the hash brown chorizo plate and it was AMAZING. love this place and will be coming back!

Cute place, great staff, especially the amazing host! He was so lovely and gracious to us and made it a smile fest.

I had the Mexican omelette and it was delicious. Always so happy when a breakfast place has fresh squeezed juices too, so 5 stars!

The breakfast house on Irving park is a very friendly and welcoming business in the nook of Irving park. Known for its good food but even better service. I had the opportunity to try the chilaquiles. I was expecting a very traditional plate but there was an American spin on them with mozzarella cheese melted on the tortilla chips and frijoles on the bottom of the plate. They were tasty but not a plate I’d order again. My husband had the chorizo hash and said it was one of the best plates he’s had in some time. All in all I think this place is worth a try!
