We loved this place. Well maintained and right there in town, so you can walk to everywhere. We normally stay on Moonstone Beach but we now prefer this place. No breakfast but they still have nice coffee and some granola bars in reception and there's a couple of breakfast places about 2 mins from the hotel. Very helpful staff and nice rooms. Highly recommended.

Such a gem of a place! Everywhere you turn, there are cozy, thoughtfully designed spots that make you want to just slow down and stay a while. The garden feels like a little slice of heaven – birds singing during the day, and a crackling fire to gather around at night. The whole vibe is colorful, warm, and full of heart. You can really feel the care and soul of the people who make this place what it is. The rooms are spacious and beautifully done – and the beds? Absolutely dreamy.

Loved this place! Has a garden & quaint vibe with enough parking, a cabin-like check in office, & very friendly staff.
The hallways had outdoor carpet & trash cans which I found lovely & useful. Shower was lovely & sink water very hot. Ceiling fan & wall heater was perfect & what we wanted. They also had a fireplace outside the office which was very cute & it's all within suuuuper close walking distance to all the cute stores & sites.
If we come out to Cambria again, I'd book a room here again!

"No restrooms in lobby."

What?
On making our reservation in approx March I had requested early check in. Was told they would make a note. We were coming from out of town to a wedding reception which began at 4. Sadly, check in time at bluebird was at 4 and they could not accommodate our request for early check in at 3:15. I asked her if we could freshen up from our 2 1/2 hour drive in the lobby restrooms...and was informed that there were no public restrooms in the lobby. I reminded her I was not the public, but that I was going to be renting a room from them... once I could get one.I could not believe what I was hearing. The receptionist then sent us down the street to "behind a big brown building" to filthy cinderblock public restrooms to freshen up... If we had tried to "freshen up" in those restrooms we would have left them feeling dirtier than we went in.

We ended up changing our clothes for the reception in our car!

Once we came back from the reception and got into our room...we found that the windows had no locks.

In addition the noise from the people above us was horrendous well into the wee hours.

On the bright side... the location was central, there were plenty of towels and a nice kitchen. And a coffee pot that worked well. We used our own bottled water to make our coffee because we haven't drunk tap water in decades and don't see any reason to start now. A nice gesture would be to have a couple bottles of water available in the kitchen.

Next time we visit Cambria, we will stay on Moonstone again... which is what we usually do.

Extremely clean room and grounds. . Close to many restaurants. Comfortable enough for our needs. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Don’t expect a lot of frills as this is an updated old school motor inn. Our second stay here and will definitely be back.

Adorable !!!!
Room was clean, simple and had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge.
Breakfast is coffee, tea and assorted granola bars.
The outside is very special with beautiful stencils, a nice garden path, a fire pit and chairs.
The little town is amazing!!!

Friendly check in, good location, room was clean and warm, and the bed was comfortable. Overall a very pleasant motel experience. The only small negative was that there wasn't much sound proofing between the rooms so I could hear my neighbors when I was trying to get to sleep, but this is common in most motels TBH.

We booked a room here because they have electric car charging stations. We were able to successfully charge, but noted one of the two plugs was tagged "Out of order" by the county. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

The room far exceeded our expectations. We booked a "deluxe king room" and it was wonderful. It was located in a single story building in the back of the property. The room was large, clean, and appeared to be recently renovated, including a complete new bathroom. There was a gas fireplace, which provided both heat and ambience. A highlight was the private patio overlooking a beautiful wooded area. Extremely peaceful place for a cup of coffee or reading a book.

There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but there are several great places to walk to.

We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
