Fantastic in all regards! As a lover of old homes, this place provided real charm, character, and class. We arrive Friday afternoon to a warm greeting and tour of the Inn, and were readily able to settle in to our room. The library and den were incredible peaceful for reading or conversation. The whole house was generally quiet, but it definitely could be lively depending on the occupants. The room itself was wonderful. Water was hot, bed was soft, blankets warm, etc. Keurigs on both floors for in-the-moment coffee needs. Breakfast was delicious - both days was a sort of hashbrown breakfast casserole, plus a yogurt and muffin.

Tip - finding the parking area at first can be tricky. Enter from W. Main St for most logical parking.

My husband and I looked forward to an overnight get away in this highly rated B&B. all was good leading up to the visit. The Inn sent helpful information ahead of the visit. The Inn was easy to find. Parking was convenient. the host who greeted us was friendly and informative, giving us a brief tour of the hotel and telling us the history. The Inn is charming. Our room was cozy, warm, and clean. The bathroom was concerning with a big step up required, which would be an issue for people with fall potential. The shower was tiny, had no handle inside to be able to pull the door closed, and the European shower head fell off of the latch and we were not able to put it back on. The room was quiet other than occasionally hearing conversations next door - the walls are thin. We should have been forewarned by the host having pointed out the sound machine in the room, but who wants to listen to white noise from a machine when you're in the North Georgia mountains? Finally, the biggest disappointment was breakfast. A positive was that the servers were friendly and efficient. A lukewarm biscuit was smothered with pimento cheese and served before we even had coffee or tea. Speaking of tea, i asked for tea and was asked what "flavor" i would like, which was a bad start. I asked for Earl Grey, which she said she had, but it was decaf. She came back with a lowly brand of an English Breakfast tea bag. The breakfast was a sickeningly sweet french toast and potatoes. I took one bite and pushed the plate away. When asked how everything was and I said it was too sweet and i couldn't eat it, i got no response. The yogurt, potentially something healthy, was bland. It was painful to then get the bill for $400. this place is not worth even half of that price.

Beautifully maintained old Inn. We felt like we were coming home at the end of the day. We slept great in our big, comfortable bed. We also loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning. We will definitely stay here again.

A delightful experience! The weather had turned cold during our visit but the room was warm and comfortable. I liked the DIY check-in - it was very easy to get our key and find our room (and if you did not want to go that direction, you did have the option to have someone greet you).

The breakfast was superb - yogurt and fresh-baked muffin (still warm!) followed by a freshly prepared hot entree, with juice, coffee, and tea. We stayed in the Rose room on the ground floor and it was nice to be able to go into the dining room for coffee before things were ready.

Bed was very comfortable and the blanket seemed to be a weighted one but with a very light weight. That spoke to quality. Room was immaculate and plenty of hot water for the bath.

The decor was well done. The house itself dates back to 1890s, so its appointment was of the Victorian age. That period is known for excess in decor but I thought the inn did a nice job of balancing all its pieces. I enjoyed sitting in the front room without feeling it was too crowded or dark, which is often the case with Victorian homes.

I would stay there again!

My wife and I spent a couple nights here for our anniversary. Unfortunately, we had to cut the trip short due to bad weather back home.

Aside from that one thing they had no control over, everything was fantastic. The staff was awesome, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The breakfast was amazing. The food was great, as was the company.

We will definitely be returning.

This was my husband's and my first experience at a bed and breakfast, and it far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, breakfast was delicious, all of the staff were so kind and friendly, and all of the amenities were so well thought out. The location was awesome too! It was walking distance to everything besides hiking.

We stayed in the Appalachian room, and we both loved it so much. It was very quiet, and had it's own separate entrance, which was nice. It rained for half of our stay, but we still were able to make the best of it. We got take out and played board games in front of the fireplace in our room.

The bed was very comfortable. In fact, I usually end up with a stiff back after sleeping in a bed that isn't my own, but that was not the case here. Water pressure in the shower was great, and the soaking tub in our room was perfect.

I loved that we had access to filtered drinking water 24/7. This seems silly, but I drink a TON of water, and usually have to buy a case or two when we travel. It was nice to have it available at the inn.

I wish I had pictures to post, but I honestly didn't even think of taking pictures the whole time we were there. I will say, the photos on the website give a very accurate depiction of what to expect. We will definitely be back!
