We got married at Blue Mountain on 12/14, and our day was nothing short of perfect! From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience with the staff. Jessica was on top of it all and truly made sure we had everything we could possibly need! The ceremony site outside has views to die for- our guests could not stop talking about how stunning it was. The reception space was absolutely perfect for our guest count, and the decor we wanted fit so seamlessly. We 100% recommend Blue Mountain Vineyards for your wedding!

The venue was absolutely stunning and very well put together. I thought everything was organized and on time. The flower company, caterers, and coordinator all knew what they were doing and did a great job.

The coordinator we worked with was a superstar. She was so on top of things and did everything she could to make sure our day was perfect. She helped get questions answered when the venue owner would not respond and helped our parents with getting all the pieces together.

My main complaint is that the owner of the venue was probably one of the worst people to deal with in terms of communications, we could never get in contact with her. It almost always took at least a week for her to respond and sometimes she would never respond. Also, it took multiple attempts. It was very frustrating. The often had to resort to contacting the coordinator to get to her since she would never respond to us.

She was also not clear on several things, including the fact that we had to have the main house, that we had to pay extra for to get any access to at all, completely cleared by the time the ceremony started. It was frustrating and stressful for our families.

Like other reviews mentioned, they do only allow certain companies for catering, flowers, etc, which can be frustrating.

Overall, despite the owner causing most of the complaints, I would recommend this venue for a wedding. It was a beautiful venue, the catering company made some fantastic food for both dinners, and the DJ created an incredibly fun, and intimate, atmosphere. It was definitely an amazing night we will never forget.

If you want a wedding with a beautiful view, it has it.
But if you have any rain or people with mobility issues, good luck! The layout of this venue is ridiculous. Wedding was scheduled for 5. At 4:30 it’s raining out. We had rented a big van for the 15 people in our group from out of state. We get there and there isn’t enough parking. 140 people invited but they claim they can handle 250…. I call B.S. no way they fit that many inside. People outside with some umbrellas not knowing what to do. Rain stops and now chairs are soaked but they attempt to blow dry them off 🤣 Nice try, how about wiping them down. So now the bride and her girls are supposed to walk from the reception barn to the ceremony down and up these two big hills, they have 1 golf cart for transportation 😵‍💫. So we volunteered to transport them in Our van. That was accomplished as everyone was rushed along but as people went to sit in the chairs, they were still wet and some were dirty as a result my wife got nice dirty spots on the back of her dress. Many people just stood. Ceremony gets over and now you must walk back on the wet slippery pavement down this steep hill. Again we helped transport people, making several trips without any Thank You from the venue staff or owners! Later during the reception we were told twice about their Insurance issues they were afraid of, Sparklers and alcohol…. But they laid down cables for fireworks in advance outside but were not concerned about people tripping over them and they did trip luckily nobody got hurt 😢

A Dream Wedding at Blue Mountain Vineyards

Better late than never writing this review, because Blue Mountain Vineyards deserves every bit of praise. We took a bit of a leap of faith when we signed our contract before the venue was even built—but after meeting the owners, Jessica and Teddy, we had complete confidence in them. And they absolutely delivered.

We were the very first wedding at the venue, and we couldn’t have been happier. The setting is stunning, and the care and attention from Jessica and Teddy throughout the entire process was unmatched. They were there every step of the way—handling even minor weather hiccups with total grace and calm.

We didn’t hire a wedding planner, but Jessica had all the right connections and truly stepped in like one. She and the team made everything run so smoothly that we could just enjoy the day. There really are no words to thank them enough.

If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with genuine, dedicated people behind it, I can’t recommend Blue Mountain Vineyards enough.

Absolutely gorgeous view. Staff was attentive and organized. Almost perfect wedding venue. Had it rained, the wedding could’ve easily been held inside. Be sure to rent the house at the wedding site. It’s well worth the small additional cost. Perfect place for getting ready and a place to stay while waiting for time of ceremony. The only negative in my opinion was that the venue only allows certain caterers and they are all too expensive and one wouldn’t even return calls. However, overall, couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue in mountains of Dahlonega. Love it.

My wife and I got married here and it was the best decision we made. Jessica, Teddy and their staff were as incredible as their views and venue! They thought through every part of our day, making everything run smooth and care free. It was obvious to us that they didn’t see it as just another wedding for them. They matched our excitement the whole day! Blue Mountain will always hold a special place in our lives! Thank you, we cannot recommend them enough!

We got compliments all day long from our guests about how stunning and perfect the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more. The staff (esp Jessica) were so helpful through the whole planning process and it was honestly so much less stressful than I imagined.
