This is such a peaceful place and a wonderful locally owned business in Downtown Bakersfield.

Lucky me! I was able to try out their new Japanese head spa treatment. The entire experience was beyond relaxing. The team at Blissful Retreat were lovely and welcoming from the first moment. I left feeling refreshed and pampered. The acupressure chair hit me just right. The scalp, neck and shoulder massage was akin to an extended version of the very best part of any day spa booking. I also appreciated the follicle exam and noticed drastic changes before and after the treatment. 🙂

My wife had a spa day package for her birthday. And was asked many times for a tip. I had tipped them already. When it came to the facial they had “technical” issues and only did one side of her face before going and doing something different. Way over priced for having issues and the receptionist to play games to try and get more money. I’d give one star but my wife liked the massage.

My husband made reservations for my birthday for me to get a facial and a Swedish massage. It was my first time doing either and it was an amazing experience. The facial made my face feel rejuvenated and the Swedish massage was so relaxing and calming. I came out of there feeling amazing. Thank you Haley and Elysia for making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely surroundings and all together a delightful experience. Received a "sister day" gift from my goddaughter/niece for my sister and myself to have facials and mani/pedis. Hayley was super friendly and did a wonderful job! Highly recommend and hope to return one day to experience a massage.

Beautiful atmosphere, all the staff were friendly! Getting my facial felt amazing. Esthetician was very thorough, and my skin feels very smooth. Would highly recommend coming back to get pampered.

Listen when I tell you this establishment is amazing please believe me. These women are the most loving, kind, uplifting, encouraging individuals I have come across in a very long time. When you walk in you can feel the love. Since I adore massages I have had my share of horrible & good massages. The massage I had today is like nothing I've ever experienced. Elysia the massage therapist is definitely gifted!!! When I tell you this establishment is one of a kind. From the soft spoken voices used to the bubbly champagne that's served you feel like your truly at a resort! Cuddos to this amazing ladies. I so enjoyed my massage today. What a birthday present to me! I will most definitely be a regular. By the way the owner is so down to earth not to mention generous! I thank God our paths crossed....

My mother got me a gift certificate for a massage here and I finally got a chance to use it. If I was reviewing this place just for the massage itself I'd probably give it 4-5 stars, but if they are going to call themselves a spa I feel like they need to have more amenities. They had other services (hair styling, pedicure, manicure, etc.), but not much in terms of the facility itself (hot tub, sauna, steam room, showers, etc.).

I literally was shown in, filled out the questionnaire, and went to the massage room. The masseuse was very pilot, asked me what I was looking for from my massage and went to work. I specifically asked for relaxation and I feel she did a great job at that!
