Nice, clean room to sleep in a unique, quaint setting. Not a super 'classy' place, but just what I expected. We came in late and they left a note for us to self check-in which was very seamless. Isolated, quiet area. A little noise from the highway, but not enough to keep me awake. No complaints.

Big Meadow Lodge has a very cute and cabin like vibe. The rooms are clean and even come with a microwave and fridge! The staff here is beyond nice. I lost my phone charger and the man at the front desk happily lent me his. If anything I would stay here just with the guarantee of exceptional service. Thanks so much you guys.

I actually really enjoyed our stay. My husband got us a room which is more like a quirky little bungalow. The bed though wasn't the greatest however I didn't wake up sore. The guy working there was great even though we rolled in kind of late. View is beautiful 😍 I could see someone used to a fancy or modern place not liking it but I was super satisfied. I've already recommended to friends

Stayed here for a funnily reunion and this place was perfect! Owners were kind and generous with us. Room was very comfortable with all working amenities (fridge, microwave, tv, internet, table space, chairs, hot water). We were out most of the day (there is a lot of hiking, lakes, etc nearby) and just needed a quiet spot to come back to. Occasional traffic noise from 395 is easy to handle with earplugs. The windows let in cross breezes and views are magnificent! Highly recommend!

Stopped here after driving for 15 hours and it was such a warm ,comforting, reenergizing space. Nice and clean and very cozy. Someone met us at the car to show us where our key and room was at. Room had a microwave, fridge, and electric kettle with hot drink options. Bathroom was super clean with fresh towels and shampoo and soap. Beds were very comfortable (firm) and the room heated up very fast. Beautiful views out the window! Would love to stop here again.

Super cute. Definitely has a “rustic” kinda vibe. Top blanket on the bed had a cigarette burn and the towel racks in the bathroom were literally hanging in for their lives. But the heater worked and the bed was comfy.

I was looking for a place to stay about 5.5 hours from our home (first afternoon of our road trip) and Bridgeport was the place. This lodge was just fine for what we needed, a place to stay the night. The room was clean, comfortable enough for a short stay, and easy to find. If we were there for a fishing trip it is really set up well, with lots of outdoor seating areas, fire rings, rod storage, fish cleaning station and so on. It is not a fancy nor romantic place, but that is not what we needed.||We were passing through in (a very cold) February. ||The heater was efficient, and my very cold wife slept warm. The room was set up very well for charging phones and so on. The bathroom had basic amenities. The coffee maker was appreciated. We were warned ahead of time by the manager that there were no restaurants open in Bridgeport (winter, 7PM arrival), so we stopped at Topaz Lake Casino. This turned out to be great advice from her, and it was indeed the last open place between Reno and Bridgeport. We could have brought sandwiches or something to eat in the room, especially if it was warmer weather. It is located south of Bridgeport, so you'd need to drive back into town if you were able to eat at a place. It was a quick, short drive to the hot springs the next morning (we were there at sunrise and snagged a pool). That morning we ate breakfast just south at the Virginia Creek Settlement. It was a great breakfast.

We had so much fun staying here!! Such a beautiful setting and a very cute little cabin. They treated us like family 🙂 dog friendly and did I mention the waited blanket on our bed!! Loved it. We will be back soon!!
