We stayed overnight for the experience during an extended cross country trip. The location is easy to access. Overall a nice experience. Especially the elevator and observation deck views. The observation deck restaurant was very good as well. My husband ate the best ribs he has ever had and the salmon was good as well. I had read negative reviews about the Fish Bowl restaurant so we avoided it and the overpriced breakfast.
The room was as described, cabin style, clean and somewhat roomy. The shower head, fantastic! My favorite part of the stay.
I was mostly disappointed with the quality of the sheets, the cheap in-room coffee maker as it was horrible. Don’t we all want a good cup of coffee when we wake up! Also the lesser than expected toiletries in the bathroom. For me a 5 star hotel should not skimp upon the little details.
Customer service I agree with many. Staff seem to not enjoy their company.

My husband and I stayed here for the experience during a holiday work event. We'd been here in the shop before and noticed that they had a hotel lodging available. I have to say, it was incredible! The staff were professional and very kind, directing us to where we needed to go. We felt safe as the elevators had card access only. The rooms were clean and it was a joy to sit in the balcony to watch the store. We had lots of complimentary things that came with including the Lookout Tower. We checked out the bar and had a grand time there. We will return again.

This is a luxury resort w/ motel 8 hospitality staff. The hotel is beautiful with many amenities and incredible Bass Pro Shop Store, however the place is understaff and the staff is not up to par w/ the luxury of the hotel. The place lacks that welcoming feeling you get from a “luxury resort”. We called room service many times with no answer, bars closed early or never opened. We had one lady who was working breakfast that was on her phone on video call the entire time. The breakfast buffet was very delicious w/ fresh fruits and full hot breakfast for modest $25/per person. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable. The valet service is topnotch easy text system and your vehicle is ready to go. We wanted to extend our stay and the front desk was rude and behaved as if they were doing me a favor. The extra fees are very high but that is to be expected in luxury resorts.

Inconsistent service, lack of staff on hotel floors, 3rd floor bar closed on both stays, limited spacious room designs, and low restaurant score report. Cypress Lodge was great the 1st time we stayed back in June. Both receptionist were kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They knew the best room(s), which were spacious with grand views.

Christmas Eve was the complete opposite. The lady was obviously agitated, annoyed, and offered no knowledge of anything! Absolutely no suggestions or accommodations. I was placed in a very small room far away from attractions. There were plenty of room options available online so I paid to upgrade to a larger room. The upgraded room looked no different from the other rooms in size and view. I was told that the room I was requesting was the only 1 designed that way. The staff offered NO options. Instead of asking the customer “what do you want me to do” and not being able to do it, management should train staff to have suggestions in place so even if the rooms are lackluster and view is of the backside of a bridge far away from the elevator for $$$/night the customer will feel more obliged to stay because the initial interaction is welcoming, hence the customer has a more optimistic hope for their stay.

This was a trip to celebrate my son's birthday and one that I wanted to make for a long time. Even though it was a little beyond our budget, I decided to do something special for this occasion. First of all, our double queen room was beautiful. I absolutely loved the architecture of the room and the entire building. It was clean, comfortable and even came with some complimentary snacks. There was plenty of shopping and browsing to do and things to see. The inside illuminated, windowed elevator ride to the very top of the Pyramid was spectacular. The only negatives are as follows. First of all, you have to pay $20 a night to park your car. Secondly, the is no free breakfast even though you pay a premium price for a room. If you want their breakfast, you must pay an extra $20 for an adult and $15 for young ones. What? I think that is an absolute shame and an insult to the guest. Thirdly, while the majority of employees were friendly, there were a couple who definitely were not. I guess not everyone enjoys their job. Overall I think it was overpriced but it was a good one and done trip. If I had received a free breakfast, I would have rated my experience higher.

Loved staying here! The character of the room and cleanliness was amazing! The atmosphere within the pyramid is so cool! Our only complaints were the $24 a piece for breakfast which was pretty much like a complimentary breakfast at other simular hotels. Also, we were told, if our room was ready, we could check in early. Upon arrival, we were told it would be $75 for early check in. We should have be told this ahead!

Best experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were amazing. The staff went well over and beyond. Jeffery our driver was the best! Such a night extra the lodge offers so you don’t have to worry about getting to and from and parking. 10/10 recommend.

Pulled up to entrance, valet took our car, welcomed by the Lodge and entered our room on third floor. The area was clean and the decor was out of a hunting lodge. Our room was wonderful with the balcony overlooking the first floor which had bass pro shop store, ponds with fish, alligators, ducks. We didn’t take advantage of bowling, shooting games, checkers, etc. The only downside was they had a breakfast buffet that was $24/per person. I feel that should have been included in stay since we paid 350.00 a night. Upside, I felt safe and enjoyed the atmosphere. The observatory was cool and food and drinks up there were excellent
