My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times and each time has been a great experience. The location itself is well maintained and tended to, the landscaping is on point. Further the pool and jacuzzi are well maintained even in the winter.

This last visit was above par due to the staff, especially Ashika. We felt welcomed as soon as we checked in after a long drive. Ashika made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond in assisting us.

The cleaning crew did a great job in making sure the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The chickens added a nice ambiance and they were super friendly. Though I do believe that my favorite part of staying at Best Western Yuba City are the M&M cookies. They’re just the right balance between M&Ms and cookie.

I spend most of my time working and living out of a suitcase during peak seasons. This place has exceeded expectations - four nights in, and it's spotless, staff are welcoming, and breakfast is superb. Plus, the chickens are quite the friendly greeters mornings and afternoons. Lol

I had a great experience overall! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My dad uses a walker, so the staff ensured we got a room on the first floor. They also serve great breakfast! It is the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel, actually. I only had one incident that was somewhat frustrating. I had to ask the new overnight staff member to call her supervisor because we had an urgent problem in the middle of the night. We just needed a simple item to fix it. I felt she should have taken more initiative to help us. Overall, though, we had a great time! There are tons of chickens roaming around in Yuba City - so many, in fact, that the staff encouraged us to take one home! It was a fun trip!

From all appearances this looks like a basic hotel. But there is some unique features that set this place apart and make it special. First, the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Second are the chickens. Yes, I said chickens. Yuba City has wild chickens and they roam the property giving the guest a true rural feeling.

Ladies, if you are traveling alone I would not recommend you stay here. The rooms are very outdated. It was decently clean.. underneath the beds need to be cleaned a LOT more. I would recommend not staying here because the rooms are located outside. I checked into my hotel around midnight and I was walking to my room, at least 3 older men watched me go into my room. ALSO… super important! There are roosters outside. Which can be cute at first… but when they are waking you up at 3am it gets really old. It scared me so bad in the middle of the night. I just didn’t sleep well at all. There was also a loud bang on my window at like 2am. Very unsettling place to be.

Decent place but definitely wasn't worth the $189 I was charged. I was also confused about the fact that I looked at rooms there the day I checked in and they were $50 cheaper than what I paid. I should have said something but was going to a concert and forgot.

Location is good, right off the 99, close to Hwy 20. There's restaurants within walking distance, as well as a Kohl's. Rooms are decent, beds are comfortable, not luxury but I sleep pretty well here. I've spent a LOT of nights here because of work, and only complaint I've had is occasionally the fridges in the room freezes my food/drinks solid overnight, even when set to the lowest setting, but that's super minor. The breakfast is good, something different every day, which is nice. It's hotel food, not a restaurant, but it's good. The thing I love the most, is the shower water pressure. I've never stayed anywhere with that much pressure, it's super relaxing, like having a massage shower head, and the water definitely gets hot! No barely hot showers here, unless you turn down the dial! I don't even have this good of pressure at home!

Staff was great, very friendly. Breakfast was good, decent variety to choose from, not fancy but gets the job done. Room/property was clean. Great stay for the price. And let's give a shout out to the resident chickens and roosters and baby chicks !
