I was disappointed the pool close at 8pm.
Breakfast was small but complete, close at 9am so you have hurry up to eat, but the rest was great.
There's a excellent donut shop open 24h and a 7-Eleven right beside plus a restaurant on the other side of the street, i had a really good spaghetti meatball.

I made reservations more than 2 months in advance. I called the best Western 800 number I paid for the insurance so if I needed to I would be able to cancel since my health wasn't great I wanted that option. I called March 8th to cancel my reservation more than 30 days but since I made my reservation thru a third party I was unable to cancel the reservation. I was disappointed because my expectations of the Best Western was high this location was an older hotel it was clean and the staff was friendly but no I won't stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel with a broken plumbing system. We were in room 103, and whenever rooms 102 104 or 106 on the second floor, we were awakened by water drainng from the showers. There is no insulation in the room in this hotel built about 1958. Staff was wonderful and the rooms are well maintained with no outside noice. We got no sleep because we were awkened at midnight, 2 am and 4 ma.

Roaches, Spiders and Urine, Oh my!
This room was absolutely DISGUSTING!!!! Cockroach eggs on night stand, cockroaches running across floor, spiders in the room, warped floors all over the room, deep scratches in floor, square chunk cut out of floor, deep cuts with peeling paint in bathtub, someone else's conditioner smeared all over the shower enclosure walls. Voiced concerns and was told that "BW Corporate had just come and inspected that very room and it passed."
I tried showing the pictures I took and he wouldn't look and just said "I believe you. What do you want me to do about it?"
I asked to not be charged for the room and I was told NO. Best they could do was move us to a different room.
Run....do not walk....far away from this place.

This was one of the best ones I've been at since I was a kid. I loved the service and the staff. I wasn't feeling well while there and they were very helpful to me while I was there. They were all very patient and caring while I kept bugging them. Thank u to all of u with all my annoying problems. I was truly greatful. Your team is amazing 👏 ❤️ . I highly recommend

Rooms were clean. We cleaned the switch on our lamp, which was pretty dirty. Service was very poor. The kitchen staff did not keep up with the demand for food. Don't go down late, or you will be out of luck for breakfast. Food quality was so-so. It's not a big variety, just bare minimum. The location is good in relation to the freeways and getting around Santee and El Cajon area. Pets are welcome at $30 per night. Fairly small parking lot. There is a 7-Eleven close, and Honey Donuts is next door. Filipi's Pizza Grotto is within walking distance and has great food.

If this place is a last resort yeah sure…. I shouldn’t have to argue with the front desk to simply get clean sheets, it took showing photos. Even the first house keeper that came, had an attitude. We weren’t even asking them to change the sheets at this point, we gladly were willing. The 2nd house keeper was lovely. The 2nd day they tried to ask us to move to a new room because “our room had been pre booked” when they knew we had booked for 2 nights. Someone had said in a previous review that the lights flicker when using other electrical outlets, it’s true. Also The bathtub fills with water as you shower. Very unorganized. Zero stars for service.

My Mother has Dementia. I have my own limitations however obligated to visit family local, whom made our reservation. The Rooms were clean, our requests to clean on specific days were respected, Breakfast was good. (I could get in SO Much Trouble with those waffles.) After a long day, we laid down early, were awoken to someone partying in the Jacuzzi. Didn't need to call the desk, it was quiet, within minutes. Sorry we left dog dishes in room but HOPE they were donated, Not wasted.
