The "Best" Best Western! The setting is beautiful. The room, the buildings, and the grounds are well cared for and welcoming. Has the ambiance of Yosemite with a beautiful wall mural hand-painted in our room. Love the food at the restaurant. Kind and sincere staff. Nice indoor heated pool and hot tub. I'll be back!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room I stayed in was perfect for my large family. The room was spacious and clean and even had a private balcony. The exterior was also so charming, there were small little parks throughout the property, which was perfect for walks. And the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

The room was pleasant, cozy, and clean. The hotel consists of several buildings spread over 8 acres of property. The lobby is cute and very welcoming with a piano, fireplace, fountain, various rustic wooden animal sculptures, and gifts for sale. The adjoining restaurant was good and had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well as a full menu for kids. The hotel is located about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive from the center of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, so the location was very convenient for hiking. This hotel was the best value I was able to find for proximity to the national park.

This hotel surprised us, the staff were very friendly: special mention goes to Caio at breakfast and Sebastian at reception, who are such lovely people. The included breakfast has many options, the history of the hotel is beautiful and there is art everywhere in the hotel. The property is large and we had a great walk and experience in the heated pool. The rooms are clean, without luxury and practical for our visit to Yosemite Park.

Amazing place. The grounds are top notch. Staff treats you really well. Restaurant had great food and drinks. The best complimentary breakfast i have had at any hotel. I made an error on my reservation and the front desk team helped me out big time. Thank you! Highly recommend.

We tried reaching out to management to resolve this and still haven't heard back, and as well when we sent them a follow up email to the email address on their website, [email protected], we received a delivery failure that the hotel email address doesn't exist.||||We've stayed at many best western hotels in the past and have always had great rooms, and we visit yosemite on a regular basis throughout the year. But we recently stayed at this location with the expectation that it would match the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere shown in the hotel’s photos online. However, our room looked nothing like any of the photos and left us in a position where we felt we would not feel comfortable sleeping there and had no choice but to seek alternative accommodations, staying at the Fairfield Marriott down the street. We were only in the room for 5 minutes.||||When we booked the room, we were looking forward to the bright, modern environment that the photos on the website showcased. However our room had just a creepy vibe, with every single light in the room using a different brightness light bulb, with every light bulb also having a different color temperature, the lighting was dim and harsh, casting an eerie tone rather than the bright, warm ambiance we saw in the online images. Even more creepy, all the framed artwork looked.... well.. just look at the photos.. and all the framed pictures in the room were all slightly crooked when we entered.. it just felt absolutely uneasing. Again, this is supposed to be a hotel room. Just look at the difference of the photos posted online, and the photos of our room. It just felt scary to be there.||||Given how eerily unsettling the room felt, it made it impossible for us to relax or even think about sleeping comfortably, so we had no choice but to leave. Unfortunately, the front desk could not offer a solution, so we were forced to find alternative lodging in the middle of the night, which was both stressful and costly. We never stayed in the room, but were still charged the full $200 for our visit, so ended up having to pay for a room we never even stayed in.||||We've had great experiences in the past at Best Westerns, and wanted to enjoy our experience there and make it the hotel for all our yosemite trips, but this experience made us choose otherwise.

This is the best of the best.
Rooms are large and spacious.
Two swimming pools and spas (indoor/outdoor). Good breakfast w stay.
Restaurant on ground excellent too.
Grounds need a little bit of work but they are very nice to walk and explore. Rooms are in separate bldgs so it keeps the noise down for a good nights rest

Have family rooms for parties larger than 4

This was a nice place to stay if you are not staying in Yosemite Valley. It does take about 1.5 hours to get to the valley from the hotel, but that is the case if you stay anywhere outside of the valley. The rooms were a bit outdated, but they were clean. We made good use of the outdoor hot tub. They had both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Parking was right outside of our door. Breakfast was decent with hot and to go options. The service of both the hotel and breakfast staff was excellent.
