Wow, what a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are stunning—beautifully designed, modern, and impeccably clean. The suites are well thought out, with upgraded features and a fresh, light ambiance. Smart tvs (samsung) . Room service is provided every other day without needing to request it, which is a nice touch. While breakfast could use some improvement, the complimentary water is a great perk. Overall, this is a wonderfully renovated hotel with stylish, newer rooms. Shampoo and.conditioner dispensers that are much nicer than smaller tube.of shampoo. I would highly, highly recommend it without hesitation!

Cozy hotel in a great location. Rooms are clean and a decent size. Bed was comfortable. Included breakfast was nice to have and lobby area was a pleasant spot to eat in. But, what really did it for me was the availability of early check in and late check out (for a fee, but not even offered at some places). We had an early flight in and late flight out and this really made our trip so much easier.

Visiting for business, this hotel was very affordable and convenient. Staff was great! Hotel feels more like a B&B with the lobby area which was really great and unexpected. Parking is in a surface lot next door ($29.50) and amount is added to the bill. Room was perfect for a business trip. The B&B feeling made for a positive experience in a busy city. Several restaurants nearby...I strongly suggest Si-Pie Pizzeria just a few minutes away on foot.

Couldn’t have been more happy with this place. Absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location. Parking was easy and check in was incredible as staff was amazing! Rooms are very quiet, clean and very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back.

I highly recommend the Best Western Plus Hawthorne Terrace to experience Chicago at the neighborhood level. We had a terrific experience at this well-maintained property tucked into a great neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes nearby.

There were lots of pluses to this hotel: The beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet. The included breakfast offered an expanded continental breakfast, always with an egg and meat option and delicious cinnamon buns. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rainfall shower was a treat. The cost per night was very reasonable considering the size and quality of the room. We felt as though we got the most for our hotel dollar.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom Roscoe Suite with small kitchen, stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. One of the bedrooms was in an alcove open to the living room, which may present privacy issues for some, but that layout worked fine for us.

The nearest L station is a bit of a walk, but we soon realized that the bus system was convenient and easy to navigate.

I stayed here 11 months ago and again this past weekend.|Pros: Great location (for me) near buses and train. Clean room/bedding that was relatively quiet. Nice front desk and housekeeping staff. Free bottled water. Lobby and hallways recently renovated very nicely.|Cons: Toilet ran every 12-20 mins (old and needs replacing), one spotlight lamp next to bed didn't work. Light switch as you enter the room did nothing (turned on no lights). I tried them all and even moved the lamps to various outlets to see if it would work.|HVAC is old and loud, but kept the room a desired temp well. Water pressure was a little low, but temp was good. Breakfast was not as good as last year. The French toast was good, but there were only scrambled eggs one day and that is a stretch to call them that (clearly some powdered egg concoction with a weird texture). I don't eat hard-boiled eggs, but they were available every day. Cinnamon buns were good. Strawberry yogurt was not quite as good as the vanilla was last year. I heard parking was $39 a day (high) but I didn't have a car.|I'm sure I'll stay again as there aren't many other hotels in that neighborhood and I didn't want to be downtown.

Very friendly and attentive staff. I stayed in a suite with three friends and it was an amazing space and experience. The hotel and rooms are clean and well-kept, they look recently renovated. The gym was well equipped with cardio machines, weights, a hot tub, and dry sauna; and we took full advantage of these amenities to keep up with our workout schedules. Amazing location for any visitors hoping to enjoy and stay within walking distance of the bars in Northalsted at night. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Chicago!

Great hotel with boutique feel! Located in Lakeview East neighborhood, it has an adorably cozy lobby and onsite parking. The rooms are immaculate and beautiful, with Alexa in every room. We were very happy with the amenities, and made use of the hot tub and gym facilities. The only complaint I might have was the thermostat was difficult to use: the wall thermostat didn't seem to control the below window unit, and we couldn't understand why it was so hot in the room after we turned off the thermostat. Figured it out without much trouble. The hotel is located just blocks away from our friend's apartment and the lakefront. Lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and many friendly people walk their adorable dogs in the neighborhood , which is a bonus! They offer a neighborhood discount so if you are visiting someone who lives nearby, call the hotel directly to book to get the best rate.
