Don't seem to care about future business. We had a night reserved there via Booking.com for a nonprofit attorney that will need to come to argue immigration cases in Imperial detention center regularly this summer. The court date got moved four weeks out. When called, they said that they are not able to do anything because it was a third party booking. I called Booking.com. They wrote to the hotel and did not get a response back. Booking wrote to me asking to contact them directly and that they asked to make an exception. I wrote the hotel. No response.
All I asked for is for a stay for the attorney for the new court date, not even a refund. They do not respond to emails or apparently to Booking.com. They are more interested in keeping the money than earning a customer. Will book elsewhere.
---
Reply to your response. When I called could have said that your policy is not to refund and you will not do so and will keep the payment no matter what. That would have been it. HOWEVER, you said that because it is a 3rd party reservation, I should contact them. YOU said that only with their blessing can anything be done.
I did reach out to them. They said that they would not charge for you to do a cancelation. Further, they said that if I wanted a different date to stay, that was up to you, not them. They tried to reach you. You did not reply to them.
I forwarded their reply to you. You did not reply to me.
You WASTED my time. You WASTED the time of Booking.com agents. What you did fully deserves this BAD review.

One of the worst experiences.||Juliana on the phone was kind, but the rest of the experience has been awful.|There was a complication with our travel, and our flight was cancelled last minute (literally <60 minutes to departing), leaving us stranded.||We called and asked if there is any way we could move the reservation or receive credits or a refund (even if partial), and they refused to do anything of the sort -- essentially, it is on us, they will do nothing to help, do not care, and we need to figure it out.||We have stayed at Best Westerns before, and are members of their rewards program and when complications like this arise have never had an issue with re-booking, especially when it is due to weather-related instances.||There goes not only an incredibly stressful day, but a really negative experience and a lot of money lost thanks to their "policies". ||Regardless of how clean or dirty the hotel is, their treatment of my husband and myself in what was one of the most stressful days we've ever had has left such a negative taste.

The absolute worse!
Asked for room service upon arrival and even spoke directly to the housekeeper and did not receive it. I had to go to the front desk and all I was given wash trash bags and told to clean my own room. To top it off there was no water pressure so we could not even shower. An issue that was once I had went down to complain they told me they had been dealing with all day yet failed to mention it to anybody. Had I known there were issues I would had gone to another hotel. As a mother with an autistic child sanitation is super important. Their response is so sorry I can give you $30 off. What a joke

Horrible experience. Two nights in a row that we stayed here and we had different rooms. Different floors. Rooms are shambles. The tiles in the bathrooms are horrible. Broken Everywhere. The elevator. Sounds like it’s gonna fall apart or breakdown. And there’s no water pressure not enough for it to come out of the shower. Only little bit comes out into the bathtub. Horrible experience.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at since 2009. I haven't seen a place this bad in 15 years. I think most, if not all of the 5 star reviews must be fake because I cannot fathom how anyone who has actually stayed here would give this place 5 stars. there is a lot of shady stuff going on with this property. the owner is never there and there is no way to contact them. front desk staff say they are not allowed to provide the owners contact info so that guests can reach them to give feedback. complaints to the front desk are ignored and swept under the rug without ever getting resolved. the owner cheaped out on the water heater and pump so the result is no hot water (you might get it after letting the water run for 15 minutes) but the water pressure will just randomly drop during which time every room in the hotel 0cannot get water. the fitness center is a joke, there's only two sets of light weights and two of the three machines are broken. the washer and dryer barely work, the dryer will leave your clothes soaking wet every time. you most likely will be forced to drive to a laundromat because the hotel staff don't maintain quarters for their machines and expect us to get quarters from the gas station which is not a bank and does not give quarters. the laundromats in the area are all trash too. I had to spend 3 hours trying to do my laundry today because the hotel has no change and rhe laundromat machines are all broken. there's a burned down abandoned graffiti covered building next door with a bunch of drug addicts living in it. they roam the property at random times during the day and night, high on hard drugs, digging through the garbage for firewood so they can make fires in the abandoned building. according to local news there's been at least two fires there in the last 5 years, all linked to transients. they are still there and the city does nothing about them. the hotel front desk has cameras but they don't watch them and don't care. the only time they will do anything about these guys is if someone complains. they woke me up early this morning screaming and threatening people outside the hotel while digging around the hotel dumpsters. this all happened right in front of the hotel lobby and the hotel didn't do anything about it for 30 minutes until I finally called the front desk to complain. the hotel itself is musty and old. it was supposedly renovated recently but still looks like trash. run down hotels like this tend to attract low quality guests so you get a lot of unsavory characters here who like partying and disturbing the peace at night. they bring dogs who bark loudly and defecate in common areas like tge stairwell. there was feces in the stairwell for an entire week before hotel staff eveb noticed and all they did was pcik up the feces. they didnt even bother to sanitize the carpet where dog feces sat for days and it still continued to smell for a week after. housekeepers also threw out some of my property here and denied responsibility. I was able to finally get reimbursed for it after spending 2 days in discomfort because they threw out medication I needed for a painful condition i have. hotel elevator has been broken for years and also has no inspection sticker. hotel claims it was fixed but never fixed it. people have complained about it for years. also if you get mail here it might get left in the unsecured mailbox in the parking lot, and your package could easily be stolen by the transients the front desk allows to rummage around the property with impunity. this is an extremely shady and poorly managed hotel. I don't know how this hotel is still in business. I did not stay here by choice and ended up having to stay here because it was the only hotel with available rooms at the time and I am in town for work. some of my coworkers are from this area and they told me this best Western is well known to locals and has an extensive reputation for being a dump which is why no locals stay here. avoid this place at all costs if you can

This hotel recently had a makeover and the rooms are nicely furnished. Unfortunately had to many bad experiences here. First room has a toilet that didn’t work after we had gotten settled in. They had no one to repair so we had to move rooms. Next room ac unit was kind of inconsistent but we survived until the next morning. When I went to take a shower water was cold. When I asked front desk what they could do they basically said if I was staying another night they could move me rooms again but we weren’t staying so nothing got accomplished. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Do not go here. This facility is unsafe. It is next to a partially burned down building with gang signs spray painted on it. There is no security. The rooms reek of smoke and are unclean. I left before spending the night. Only being in the room perhaps 30 minutes my clothes reeked of cigarette smoke. Don't do it...plenty of quality places to stay other than this hotel.

Nice clean rooms and comfortable mattress. I had a good night sleep. Also, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. One of the nicer places to stay while in Calexico/El Centro area.
