Even some five star hotels don’t have a fridge and microwave, so definitely impressed. Friendly management and quiet establishment. Great amenities too (restaurants, hot tubs, etc…. Just a weekend trip and was five minutes from my family l was visiting which was fantastic. Would recommend.

The room had a brown crusty substance on the curtain and stains on the floor. When I showed a picture of the curtain to the front desk, they said that they would “let someone know”. Never heard from anyone. There was a wedding party in that completely took over the hot tub and pool area. They had about 20 people in a hot tub that at maximum should hold 10. Drinking beer out of glass containers and smoking. When I mentioned these things to the Front Desk, they just laughed and said “yeah”. The next night when we attempted to go use the hot tub because we hadn’t been able to the night before, there was someone smoking at the hot tub again, and the hot tub looked and smelled like an aquarium that was long overdue for a cleaning. Overall, this hotel is old, rundown and not well run or maintained.

We stayed here while visiting family in Clearlake and while in years past it was firmly “ok” this time it was dreadful.
The building is in disrepair and we switched rooms multiple times before finding one that would even meet a very generous definition of “clean”

Beds with ripped sheets complete with all sorts of human hair. Unvaccumed carpets with chunks of food mashed in. Bathtubs flowing at a constant Raif above a trickle, curtains stained and full of cigarette burns and of course the room that smelled like someone had been smoking weed for days on end.

Let’s add poor communication during a wildfire power outage and possible evacuation.

Don’t stay here, I know we won’t be doing so again.

Great place with spacious room and comfy beds. I always stay here when I travel to Lake County. I highly recommend this place. The parking is safe with excellent lighting and cameras. It's great if you are traveling solo or with family.

The worst stay night ever! DONT EVER NEVER STAY HERE! we paid 160 for a room that was smelled like a dog, the air conditioner had noise and kept us awake all night. Pillows are not comfortable. SUPER DISAPPOINTED

Very nice place to stay in a town that doesn’t have a lot of great options. Staff was friendly, room was very clean, bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Only issues: Most Best Westerns include a free breakfast but this one doesn’t, water pressure on third floor could be better (was adequate), noise from other rooms was an issue (thin walls).

Horrible experience EVER!!! Since day one. I got there and the room smelled like old people and dirty carpet. At night, I was about to lay in bed when I moved the sheets, I saw 2 black spiders running around. I called the front desk to let them know all they said is they can bring clean sheets. I didn’t make it a big deal because I killed the spiders. The next day, when I got to the room, the fridge started making a horrible annoying noise. I called front desk and they said they were sending maintenance and tell me if they showed up. Nobody did. I called to check on status and front desk never picked up. I called many times and not an answer. How can the front desk be alone? Then I complained about getting clean sheets and I was told housekeeping was on their way. Housekeeping never showed up. I call to check on status and I was told housekeeping closes at 5:00. So, why wasn’t I told this? I was stressed out I went to their bar to have a drink. Bar closes at 9:00 PM and it was 7:00 and the bar never opened. I just called it a night and went to sleep. The next day I complained to everyone how horrible their services were especially when I found spiders in my bed. Erika (front desk agent) told me she was going to speak to the Owner. When I checked out and my ride was waiting for me, she told me the Owner was on the phone and that she will call me back to discuss my options. Tell me if Erika called me back? As of today, I have still not received a call. I even emailed the property and never got a response back. I will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN, that town is horrible and so many drug addicts in the street and that hotel seemed like it was a hotel for drug addicts, it’s a nasty and ghetto hotel. Horrible experience!
