From walking thru the front door to settling into our spacious king room, the views, ambience and greeting by our hosts, Pete and Rachel, were superb! The home is amazing with plenty of comfy spots, coffee/ tea/ snack station, deck and music lightly playing in the background. |Everything was set for a very relaxing environment. The special breakfasts each morning were unique, tasty and made with care. We couldn't have been more pleased and will definitely book another visit. |We love Mentone with the quaint shops, specialty Cafe's and eateries and plenty of hiking trails with views to take in. A must stay!

Stumbled by chance on Bee on the Brow after a lucky cancellation. Majestic vista over the valley from the balcony by day, star filled sky by night. The hosts Rachel and Pete were both welcoming and engaging but not at all obtrusive. A wonderful breakfast and homemade pecan pie left out for the afternoon. The bee/honey theme throughout the house is very well done with a sumptuous living room and the bedroom was 5 star. If you are looking for a special place for a break, look no further. Was sorry to leave!

My husband and I recently stayed there for a weekend as an anniversary trip. It was a wonderful experience! The hosts, Pete and Rachel, were very helpful and friendly. The B&B was lovely-clean and inviting. I especially enjoyed the back deck with the incredible view down the mountain. We will definitely be going back!

Col Pete and Rachael are wonderful hosts and they have created a lovely place to just relax and also enjoy the beautiful view from their balcony overlooking the valley below. Rachael is a fabulous and creative cook. Breakfast is a delicious work of art. Highly recommended!

I wanted to surprise my husband with a night out for his birthday. I had seen advertisements for Bee on the Brow while scrolling through social media. I decided to book a night. I did not tell my husband where we were going until we were almost there. He does not do surprises very well. The owners, Pete and Rachel were very helpful and texted me information the day of arrival. They have a very beautiful home and offer a wonderful experience. They welcomed us upon arrival and had us choose our main course for breakfast the next morning. They shared with us the available open areas for our usage and made us feel at home. The home was extremely clean and inviting. Snacks and drinks were offered and available at all times. The room was beautiful, clean, and as pictured. A bottle of water was awaiting us on the small table along with a welcoming note. Their website is easy to navigate and helpful, especially with restaurant recommendations. Rachel informed us of what time breakfast would be served and it did not disappoint. It was delicious! I highly recommend a stay at Bee on the Brow! My husband, who does not like surprised was very pleased and stated he had a great time, and I made a great selection in stays. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I so love this delightful place! It was our second visit and this time we stayed three nights instead of two…and we’re so glad we did! The Bee decorated for Christmas is beautiful…we had our “own” lovely tree in our Linden Suite. As always, each breakfast was delicious and unique. Rachel & Pete are the best hosts — quickly available if you need them but ever mindful of allowing us the time to just “be” at the Bee, which is what we needed. To rest, refresh, reconnect, rejuvenate after months of unrelenting stuff to do. We’re already considering when we can return!

The hosts (the owners) were fantastic and made our stay at a memorable one. The setting on the Brow of Lookout Mountain was perfect, and the view of the valley below was spectacular. The decor and breakfasts were fabulous. We definitely hope to return in the near future. |
