We had an amazing time at the Bear Paw Lodge! We had never stayed in this area of Seward, but it's really close to Seward, Exit Glacier and the Pit Bar. Wendy was really friendly, even putting up with some of our important philosophical questions: do salmon always return to their stream of birth or do they just choose the closest stream to spawn? Inquiring minds around the fire pit like to challenge conventional wisdom! Thanks for the great home away from home, Wendy!

Excellent home for our family trip to the Seward area! A beautiful and comfortable log home. Our group enjoyed the hot tub after long days exploring this beautiful area. A well stocked kitchen, too! If we're ever back in the area, would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Bear Paw Lodge. The lodge is situated in the beautiful tall trees in a quiet area near downtown Seward. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for lounging, dining, cooking and sleeping. The hot tub was great after a hike.

Wendy and Dave are amazing and thought of everything. They provided a welcoming and comfortable lodge with great attention to detail. Wendy and Dave shared their wisdom and tips and were extremely helpful to our gang in planning an unforgettable trip. They contributed to our once in a lifetime vacation from beginning to end. Their enthusiasm for what they do and where they are, and their warmth for guests at the Bear Paw Lodge was 100% there for our entire experience. Thank you Wendy & Dave!

The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a busy day of excursions. The fire pit was warm and inviting and another great way to unwind after a day full of excitement. It is very well equipped and Marci was wonderful and helped with all of our needs during our stay. Wendy was very prompt to answer any questions and easy to contact. My husband and I traveled with 3 other couples and couldn't have had a better place to stay. Thank you Wendy & Dave for allowing us to be your guests at your beautiful home in Seward.

Our stay at Bear Paw Lodge was extraordinary. It was a true 5 star stay. The accommodations were wonderful, we had plenty of room, the amenities were great, all above what most places provided, . The home was clean and beyond what we were expecting. It was great being able to meet Wendy and sit down and share some stories with her. My only disappointment was that I wasn't able to stay longer in the lodge! Great job Wendy & Dave! If we make it back to Alaska, we would love to stay with you again!
