The entire place is just run down and crummy. There were not a full size closet in the room. There was only a bar style sink in the room. The toilet was barely connected to the floor. The shower curtain was practically falling down. I am truly grateful that I survived the stay without contracting a highly contagious disease. The room was definitely not worth what I paid for it.

We’ve stayed here before, 2 years ago for a previous AL football game. So we knew what we were getting. However in the year we stayed at another hotel, because the Baymont was sold out, it went even more down hill. |The few good things this hotel has going for it are: |-good WiFi, friendly staff, hot water, comfortable King size mattress, and they’re close to plenty of food options.|Now the rest of it is left to be desired, especially for the overpriced rates for game weekends, no matter who Alabama is playing. The room was gross, the bathroom floor had hair all over it. The window curtain had a 2ft stain going up it, at the bottom, that that there’s no telling what the substance was. There were stains all over the walls, some water stains and other unknown stains. The mini fridge was unplugged when we arrived, my husband plugged it in, so we could use it for our drinks, HUGE MISTAKE, we quickly unplugged it! The mini fridge made an atrocious constant loud squealing speaking noise. |Overall, it was not a good experience, we would have left however there were no other hotels with rooms available due to the Iron Bowl being played that weekend.

Room was decent for the price. Coffee provided but no coffee pot. Only 2 towels and wash cloths for a double bed room. Pillows were 1/2 size of a full size pillow but comfortable. TV remote had no batteries. BUT office staff was wonderful. Fixed remote, got towels once we asked, and the breakfast was excellent.

Horrible experience. Came in during late night after booking online and the associate obviously didn't have a clue on what he was doing. A black gentleman was also behind the counter and just made things worse. They charged my card twice without ever telling me. Once for $67.25 and another time for $50. The $50 I knew was the incidental fee but when I inquired about the $67.25, the black guy said "it was an accident, it'll be refunded." When I said "yes, in 3-5 days" he mocked me and said "yes and It'll get refunded eventually. Or you can go somewhere else." Extremely unprofessional. They never informed me they were charging my card a second time and when I asked how that mistake was made, he said "he's new, it'll be refunded eventually," I began recording the incident because the black guy was extremely unprofessional and just didn't care about customer service. You don't charge someone's card without their consent and then basically tell them they're "out of luck" because of an "accident." Will definitely be calling upper management regarding this issue

We visited Alabama for the iron bowl game and chose this hotel because the online pictures looked like a nice and decent place to stay at. This hotel doesn't in any way look like the pictures that are posted. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The maintenance man was very nice. Besides that it was terrible. The room was old, outdated and stained from ceiling to floor. The curtains had sticky stuff on them. The floor was dirty. The bedding felt like paper napkins. The ceiling and walls were stained and dirty. The furniture was old and falling apart. We paid about $300 for the night and homeless people were sleeping under the staircase outside. Besides the staff being nice and friendly it was just old and dirty every way and not what was posted online. Do not recommend this place.

This hotel looked very decent online and i was able to find a good deal on a 4 day stay here. The lady working the front desk was funny and personable and very helpful.
But as soon as we got to our room the experience quickly declined.
Our feet stayed black from walking barefoot in the room, the appliances were covered in sticky residue and stains.
Our sheets and foot cover also had stains all over them. We were only given 2 pillows.
The tables were not well cleaned, the lamps have rust and stains on them as well. The ceiling has spots of peeling and the sink had build up yellow residue.
Inside the drawers were bulging with water damage. The furniture is scratched, dented, falling apart, and stained.
Unfortunately this was one of the most displeasing hotel visits that ive had personally. The discount wasnt cheap enough to make this stay reasonable.
With how they “take care” of their rooms, dithered me from trying their breakfast.

Do not stay here. They cancelled my 50 payment saying everything was fine that we was get it back bc u have to give them 50 for hold. Well then they charged my card the next day after we was gone after they told us we was getting it back. And this was without me knowing and u cannot get a manger on the phone.. But it's ok bc they are fixing to see they messed with the wrong one this time.. I hope u r reading this, u so called manager. My lawyer is coming so get ready..
