The rooms were clean and well-appointed with a continental breakfast, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer, iron, soap, and toiletries. The location was perfect for the concert we attended. We enjoyed the hot breakfast that was included, and appreciated access to the pool. We plan to return for lodging again. The price was very reasonable.

Check in went smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and looked as if it had been recently updated. The beds were comfortable. The location was in a quiet area, so we really had a good night's sleep. I loved the 12:00 noon checkout, as we're not early risers. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rockford.

I've stayed in many different hotels in Rockford over 15 years - Baymont is the best value for the dollar. Rooms and common spaces are clean and comfortable. Lots of families on a Saturday night yet our second-floor room was quiet. Well-lit sidewalk for several blocks down the street so safe and easy to take out dog at night. Breakfast buffet is especially good for chain hotel. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to stay an extra night. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Will return.

Great location! Less than one mile from Hard Rock casino. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a wide array of items from Belgian waffles, bagels, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee machine had cafe latte mocha’s and regular coffee!

Pool area had mold mostly in the bathroom, but could see it all around. The rooms were over priced for the size your basically paying for the location I guess. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel. The paint job in the rooms sucked just like the crappy drywall cracks or possible repairs they have done it had done. Rooms definitely needed work.

Room was nice. Bed very comfortable. They could add smart TV’s to the rooms. Located right across the street from the cities new Hard Rock Casino. Right off the highway so it was easy to find. Plenty of place to eat & shop close. The shopping mall is around 10mins from the hotel.

Honestly the worst interaction I've ever had with a hotel staff member. The hotel website claims to be pet friendly, so me and my fiancee came to visit my family from Utah with our two puppies. No one was at the desk when we came in so we just took them up to my family's floor. My family immediately got a call from the lady (who was supposed to be at the front desk) saying that if we take the dogs into the room, they'll have to charge us a pet fee. We didn't know this so instead of taking the dogs into my family's room, we headed right back into the elevator and start heading back to the car. To our surprise, the front desk lady already charged my family the pet fee even though our dogs never even entered the room! When we asked why we were charged she said, "I can't take your word for it." And when we asked if she could check the cameras she said, "I still can't take your word for it. We don't have cameras. If you wanted to avoid the fee, you should've talked to me first." UM HELLO. She wasn't even at the front desk when we walked in! Who were we supposed to talk to She had a very accusatory tone — almost insinuating that we were trying to be sneaky about our dogs. I always try to be as kind as I can be to folks in customer-facing roles, as I used to be in this position too, but never once when I was in customer service did I treat someone as spiteful and apathetic as she treated us. I didn't catch her name but she had short, orange-dyed curly hair (and a permanent frown). I'm reading other reviews of this place too and I'm seeing that I'm not alone here.

This is a very clean hotel. Even my germaphobic daughters were impressed! There are nice little extras like ample Dove products, filtered water in the fitness center and a very vast breakfast offering, for free breakfast. Staff was very helpful. I highly recommend.
