Upon getting into our room, we noticed the dust ruffle was badly stained and in poor shape. I pulled back the covers and lifted the pillow and a bug was crawling on the sheets!!
And I noticed the sheets were badly stained on both beds. I pulled back the sheets and the mattress pad was TERRIBLY stained. There was a 1/2 gap under the door!! There were gaps around the edges of the door too. I immediately informed the front desk. The attendant then suggested we look at other rooms. She showed me two other rooms and the dust ruffles were in better shape, I was not allowed to pulled back the covers to inspect the sheets. There were gaps on the top left and bottom left of the door, light was shining in on both doors. She then took me to a room with one King bed. There were gaps on the top left and bottom left of the door as well...light was shining in! After an uneasy discussion, I felt trapped because we could not go anywhere else due to it being graduation weekend. After she left, my wife and I pulled back the covers and found multiple stains on the sheets again!! And the mattress pad had obvious yellow stains on it. It was TOTALLY disgusting! I went over to my father-in-law's room and inspected his beds and ALL THE SHEETS HAD STAINS on them!! WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!! I realized at this time is was USELESS to ask for clean sheets! Because after inspecting the sheets of FOUR BEDS, they were ALL STAINED and I did not have confidence that the motel could provide safe, clean sheets. Also the towels smelled like gym towels and has a sweaty musky smell to them. They were thin and disgusting. So I decided to purchase new sheets and towels at Walmart for $96.00. I informed the front desk what I did and why and that I needed to talk to the manager. I was told she would be in the following morning. The next morning I spoke with the manager and she asked if her housekeeper could retrieve the sheets in question. I said yes and proceeded to demonstrate to the housekeeper the stained mattress pad and her exact words were,
"OH MY GOD!! YOU ARE RIGHT. THESE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN USED." The housekeeper told the manager, (In my presence) that they were stained. The manager told me that she would consider it all and let me know later. I checked with her later in the day and she told she would either refund me one nights stay or give me two night on my Wyndham points. I asked to let me consider it. The next morning, I asked the manager if she would consider a refund for two nights (we rented two rooms for two nights...4 total nights) She said no that her offer was the best she could do and that I decided to stay and not go somewhere else. I told her we HAD to stay due to it being graduation weekend, we DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE!!! She said she would not change her offer. I told her that I had to pay nearly $100 to make it right and one night's refund does not make it right. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A MISERABLE ENCOUNTER WITH WYNDHAM!!!

Now, after complaining to WYNDHAM, the manager has REFUSED to refund anything. I want answers. I will NOT let this go. I will keep fighting until there is justice.

Great little place to stay! Clean, friendly, nice rooms, comfy bed, will stop here again on our way thru Alabama. I wish more motels would remodel, I prefer outside entrances to rooms especially when traveling w/pet. Would have given 5 stars but we did not have a coffee maker in our room for some reason? We were up at 4:30 & the lobby & office were all locked up with no one in sight. I HAVE to have coffee 1st thing so we packed up & left before we had planned. Oh & cld add a cpl more towels & washcloths 😉

This was a great last minute booking! Location was amazing as it had restaurants and stores nearby, including Walmart. Area seemed safe. Ashley at the front desk was super nice and greeted me with a smile and kindness! Super friendly! Room was great! There were some areas that could have been cleaned better: toilet was dirty, hairdryer had a buildup of hair (yikes), and the side of the tub was dirty. ||Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

I strongly advise against booking with this hotel. Despite canceling my reservation three weeks in advance and never utilizing any of their services, the hotel refused to issue a refund. They enforce a strict no-refund policy that was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. When I raised concerns, I was repeatedly told, “This is our policy,” without any consideration of the circumstances. In my experience, this reflects a lack of transparency and poor customer service.

The front desk attendant was nice, but the room smelled like mushrooms, sheets were stained, and the AC unit shook the whole room. Area is not too nice and didn't feel safe.

Positive: The outside of the hotel area was very clean. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean. Negative: The facility said 100 % smoke free and it wasn't. The woman checking me in and the head cleaning lady was smoking, getting a huge puff of smoke in my face. The pool wasn't open. The breakfast was lacking, not impressed.

It was ok, we did not go back to the receptionist to complain, but we probably should have asked for a different room. We did not like that there were people standing outside of our room smoking. We could hear them inside and it was unnerving. The room had connecting doors on each side (inside the room) that were not sealed up at all. We could hear conversations from the other rooms and someone was coughing hard all night. It was gross because we could see light coming in from their rooms, so we know the air was also flowing through those gaps. Just uncomfortable knowing others could also hear us. There is a water leak in the ceiling, so the light fixture and surrounding ceiling area was stained, rusted, and yucky.

Very bad experience in March 2025. The room was basic. Bed and pillows uncomfortable, noise level is horrible between the window heater making noise constantly and people slamming doors. I did not get much sleep for my two nights there. The area isn’t the best. It appears the city is trying to “revitalize” the area but it’s still a sketchy area. Always people walking around the hotel. The first night my car window had a full handprint on the rear door triangle window as if someone leaned to look inside. I will not stay here again. Felt unsafe in the room and can hear everything. Even the staff locks the office at night and uses windows intercom. Spend the extra hundred and go to avid or something the next street up.
