After reading reviews, I brought my own bed sheets to put on top of their sheets--you should, too. We wanted two queens and instead the beds were 'full' size. The room was old, the batteries to the TV remote were taped in because it didn't have a back. Pool has no water. The bathroom was decent but very old fixtures. We went to see the eclipse and we did.

For those that are saying website does not provide info on pool. It technically it does. I provided a screenshot from the Google quick review its all the way right.
But I was here about 2 years ago for 4.20
The pool is indeed under commission
They probably have to upgrade everything or they sprung a leak and have to get it fixed. This place does need an upgrade. But I chose this place because of how nice the people were the 1st time. They do in fact go through and change out the sheets. They do take into consideration of you want housekeeping or not. Very quiet.
Highly recommend if you are looking for that really good deep sleep. I've lived in worse. This is better than what I had 10 years ago

Worst management of a hotel possible my room was overbooked. They threaten to kick me out and not return. My money put me in a different dirtier room that I was in before and don’t care that I’m not happy or that they Messed up|There is no more customer service in the hotel industry. You’re just a number money to move around. No one cares anymore.

The location was nice. It is across the street from a casino. The overall appearance of the hotel is very sad. It needs a major update and upgrade. The rooms were clean, and the bed was good, but the bathroom needed an update and upgrade. The tub though functional was in need of at least being replaced. The breakfast was very limited. The staff was very nice.

We needed a place to stay on short notice and a room at this hotel was available. It is located some distance from the highway, which seems odd until you notice that it is right next to a large Casino. Front desk staff is friendly and earnest. Property in general has seen better days, carpets in hallways and rooms need replacement. There is a definite "aroma" in the hallways (It is in Illinois, where marijuana is legal). Rooms have a nice size refrigerator and a small microwave.

This place is a dump. Got in my room and bunch of things were broken or loose. Smelled like stale beer. Carpet was disgusting, there was lemon seeds stuck in the sink.
The website also says nothing about the pool not being available.
I do not recommend this place at all, owned by some more rag heads.

Stayed one night at this hotel. Overall, it is an inexpensive hotel. The facilities are rundown and I am not sure when the pool pictures they share were taken but it was long, long ago. (At the time of my review, the pool is in complete disrepair.)
Service was fine.
The room was…okay. Dated decor. Carpet in desperate need of replacement. The “desk” is really a small square table with a hard back restaurant style chair, not a desk or desk chair. The lamp near the desk has a thoroughly rusted bottom. The WiFi was actually okay, allowing me to watch a movie on my laptop.
The AC worked well but it is also clear it has not been cleaned underneath it in quite awhile and I suspect it is leaking.
The bathroom was okay. Hotels tend to never have great water pressure and this was not an exception.
The parking lot, like the whole facility, needs some work and feels pretty unsafe at night.

I've been coming here off and on for last 7 years on business. Since Alinson Consalves has been here their have been steady improvements. Getting better each visit. My room was clean with new towels bedding carpet pillows ectopic. I'm always treated like a king. And I am just a truck driver cutting through about once a month. I like the hotel tho people and the direction the hotel has taken. Thanks Alinson
