Very pleasant customer service when we arrived. Set a positive mood for the convention.

Concerned about key entry at the door down from main entrance would not work with our room key. Had to walk to the lobby door to get to our room. Wasn't real happy about that. Our room was next to a door that people would go in and out of. Extremely noisy door bang up to 3:00 in the morning.
What happened to full size pillows.......

Room was clean beds were comfortable.

Room was what you should expect, comfortable beds and staff was great. Only issue i could have is with other guests there that were setting up to no good. I always love the little waffle makers for the breakfast. Apple cinnamon waffle was great.

Baymont in Freeport, Il has friendly staff, our room was clean & housekeeping service great. Breakfast had plenty of options from cereal to make your own waffles & eggs or biscuits & gravy along with the lighter options like fruit & yogurt.
We enjoyed our stay & will be booking future visits to Freeport there!

This hotel is beyond tired. Despite watching the cleaners vacuum lobby and very thorough room service, the facility cannot be clean. Carpeting is filthy - won't let my bare feet touch it. This place needs serious help. And, yes I did find small bugs in the room. I was also charged a $25 "early check-in fee" for arriving at 1:30 pm instead of 3 pm. Even though there were rooms available I was not allowed to check in at 1:30 pm unless I paid the fee. I would never stay here again and wish I had not stayed the first time. It was also VERY EXPENSIVE for the quality and service received.

We went to the Baymont to give Our grandkids are an opportunity to swim for the Evening. The pool was so cold that the kids could not stay in for more than five minutes. Rooms and service and the rest of the experience was just fine.

This place is showing its age a little, but super clean. The staff has been top notch. Very helpful and friendly, and that is not just the front desk. But other employees I encountered around the building were also friendly and attentive.

I didn’t expect the choices for breakfast. There were choices for a healthier meal than standard waffles and cereal.

The location for me was great as I am riding the grand Illinois trail.

Definitely would stay here again
