This was a very nice hotel. I am disabled and needed help getting my scooter in and out of my car. The morning employees were extremely helpful, he pulled my car up to the door due to it raining and loaded my scooter and my suitcase. The room was very very nice, bed was very comfortable. They have a hot breakfast which looked and smelled great but it was too early for me to eat. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I go to Pa every year.

The staff at this place are great. They pay attention to details like cleaning all areas of the rooms, including the fridges and microwaves and guests can tell the difference between a hotel that is well kept and one that is neglected. The breakfast is a hot one with many selections and again, the breakfast area looks well-kept and clean. The towels and linen in the room look and smell like fresh laundry. The lights in the room are white, and not dark yellow, like they have in bars. The internet is fast and is always on and not constantly buffering or disconnecting like at some hotels. There is a ton of parking not only for cars, but big trucks or vehicles towing anything. There is also a restaurant/bar right next door as well as a large truck stop and an IHOP restaurant inside. Definitely would recommend location to others.

It's a truck stop hotel focusing on truckers, but it was a great hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely polite and friendly. Asked for food recommendations, and his recommendation didn't disappoint. The room smelt really clean and was clean. The breakfast was decent. If we needed a place to stay in Effingham, this would be our choice again.

Good location with easy access to I-57 / I-70. Plenty of food and gas at the exit. Clean room with an easy check-in process. Breakfast was disappointing, though it did not impact my decision to stay or my appreciation for the property. I would say here again.

Nice place to stay. The staff was very attentive. We had forgotten a small cooler when we left. They contacted us while we were driving, and held the item until we returned. I have stayed at a number of places, and forgotten some items at times, when I checked out. This is the only place as of now that has contacted me and then held the item for me as I returned. Thank you

Front staff girl was so nice and accommodating but we DID find multiple bed bugs in our bed in the middle of the night after we had already been sleeping in it. She got us a refund right away and we left. Rooms were eh which doesn’t matter too much to us. Burr bugs though are unacceptable. We are traveling 9 hours to our destination for the holidays with family and now we have to deal with this and figuring out what needs washed and thrown out. Absolutely disgusted. At the worst time possible.

We decided we wanted to sleep in an actual bed instead of our camper and have an actual shower. We needed something affordable since we weren’t checking in till late and just showering and going to bed. Front desk staff was sooooo friendly….. place is very decent and clean. Hot breakfast of eggs waffles sausage and biscuits and gravy were VERY good. Would absolutely stay here again

Positive: The late night before midnight check in person (lady) opened up once I mentioned our appreciation for her working on Christmas. The morning starting at 8AM guy was super friendly and customer service oriented. Negative: They were out of tea bags.
