My kids and I had a wonderful stay. They have redone the rooms and everything was great! The beds were comfortable and the staff were very accommodating as well. A big thank you to the lady who ran breakfast she even made my kids waffles! 5 stars! ⭐️

Eh… Priceline said they were pet friendly; they were not. We were evacuating from Hurricane Helene, so they allowed us to bring our dog (we were told to hide her).
The rooms were clean, but they don’t offer lotion… so bring your own.
The breakfast had few choices; and if you don’t get it by 8 (breakfast is supposed to end at 9), it’s gone.
The area of the hotel is pretty grimy. I’m pretty sure there was a drug dealer on the corner. I watched several cars stop and talk with him. It was broad daylight!

The hotel is under construction. There is a sign, but there is no lighted sign, so we had to rely on google maps, which got us there. The staff that greets us was very nice and answered questions. She was efficient checking us in. The room is adequate. The conditioner bottle in the shower was broken. The pool was closed. Breakfast was not really breakfast; they ran out of eggs. We had to go out to get breakfast.

So, I was a little nervous about this place because of all the really night-marish reviews. However, it's not bad. We just needed a place that's clean and close to highway, on our way to Louisiana. The bathroom and bed were clean. Big stain on the sofa (so I just didn't sit on it). Front desk staff was very friendly. Typical hotel breakfast, good for a grab and go. The room is spacious, with a coffee maker, a brand new microwave, and a mini fridge with a freezer. The place is currently being renovated, so there were signs of construction, especially in the parking lot.

The staff were great, especially the lady who runs the breakfast! I'm sorry to have missed her name.
We were originally given a room that had not been cleaned but were switched, luckily, to another one on the same floor. That room looked clean on the surface, but I am from the hotel service industry so I know how to clean a hotel room. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The staff need trained on detailed cleaning.

Apparently, the room was remodeled and was not finished yet. The hot water in the shower would not get warm. Neither the coffee maker or refrigerator worked. It was too hot to sleep because the room never cooled down enough. At breakfast, there was no juice or milk, The manager was not there and did not return my call. I was never offered an apology, just excuses. Um, the pillows were nice.

Positive: "" Negative: Usually staff is courtesy. The new GM is a maniac. She knowingly checked customers in without telling us the hot water was off. She then decided to not refund the room and lied about informing the guests. I've never seen anything like it.

I have no doubt these raving reviews are paid for by the hotel. The first red flag was the mildew smell coming from our air conditioner. We called the front desk to fix the issue and all they did was spray air freshener in it to attempt to mask the smell. Within a few hours it started smelling again. There was mold all in the bathroom on the ceiling and around the tub. We had no toilet paper in our room. The tv stand was so molded it was falling apart. Mold in the carpet. The entire hotel smelled like weed probably from the amount of guests who paraded around with it outside and up and down the hall ways and elevator. It was so bad I had to get my kids to hold their breath on the elevator. The breakfast was a joke. They only cooked enough for 6-8 at a time and would only start making more when they ran out. So it was either wait 20 minutes for burnt food or eat dry cereal. Save yourself the trouble and spend the extra $20 for a clean room you can actually be in and not worry about the health of your family. The only good thing I can say is there was a lady at the front desk who was extremely pleasant when we had interactions. The rest of the staff, especially the breakfast attendant and housekeepers were extremely rude and nasty. We will never be back.
