We rented the small SPRUCE cabin for a weekend anniversary trip for 2. It was great! Reservations, directions, and instructions were easy. The cabin was so well made. It is a small A-frame, perfect for 2. You will need to be strong and flexible enough to climb up the ladder to the bed up in the loft, but it was not a problem for us. The location was great-beautiful view. Our cabin had a private hot tub on the deck with great views of the bay and mountains. Jen was a joy to deal with and the whole thing could not have been better. We will be back again at the end of summer/fall. Would highly recommend.

The Augustine Cabin, at Baycrest Lodge was spectacular. The view was endless. Room was filled with every amenity you could possibly need. Custom tile work in the bathroom was beautiful. We stayed two nights and left wanting more. Star gazing from the private hot tub was awesome. Breakfast vouchers for BB’s Bakery were a pleasant surprise. Great breakfast sandwiches and full breakfasts. Donuts were so fresh. Gift shop had plenty of gifts to commemorate our stay. Booking and checking in was a breeze. Lots of communication via text and emails. Can’t wait to give another one of their cabins a try. Thanks Baycrest.

As a longtime patron of Baycrest Lodge in Homer, Alaska, I can’t say enough about how much we love this place. It’s become a go-to spot for our family over the years, and every visit feels just as special as the first. The property itself is stunning perched on a bluff with jaw-dropping views of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains. There’s something so peaceful about sitting on the private porch, grilling up dinner on the gas BBQ, or soaking in the hot tub while taking in that incredible scenery. It’s rustic yet upscale in all the right ways, and the attention to detail like the custom spruce furniture and cozy leather furnishings makes it feel like a home away from home.

I recently rented the Shorebird Cottage from Baycrest Lodge for my daughter and son in law on their honeymoon. They said the cottage was very clean, had everything they needed for the weekend, and the view was spectacular. They absolutely loved the stay, said it was relaxing and exactly what they needed. The staff was accommodating, responsive and friendly. Will definitely rent from them again in the future.

Stayed at the little lupine, has a great time. Great views, beautiful home. Hot and sauna were very enjoyable, also enjoyed the vouchers to BB’s bakery, will definitely come again!

Third stay! Twice at Birch, once at Lupine. This is our new go to for an Alaskan staycation. In floor heating, heavenly beds, breathtaking views, and the hot tubs are hot! The new breakfast bucks was a family favorite and helped make an unforgettable stay even more memorable.

Absolutely beautiful! Words can't begin to describe how wonderful the Baycrest Lodge is. My husband and I just returned from a trip to Alaska. Homer was our last stop and the Baycrest exceeded all expectations! As many others have said, the views are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Aspen lodge and it was perfect. Very comfortable, clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could want to prepare a meal (although we did go out to enjoy all the great food in Homer!). Having laundry in the unit was very welcome after a week traveling and living out of suitcases. The lodge was very easy to find. Location and unit were very quiet. Information on local restaurants and activities was available and extremely helpful. Wi-fi and TV were available and worked very well (although it was hard to pull ourselves away from the view to use these!). I would absolutely recommend the Baycrest for anyone traveling to Homer!
