Barn wedding venues can be tricky for photographers for many reasons. Some have minimal natural lighting, or rely on string lights etc to do the job, meaning they're dark inside and hard to photograph. Some barns aren’t as spacious as they appear, especially when filled with tables, decor, and guests. Some are repurposed working barns, meaning a lack of outlets, overhead obstacles everywhere and an inability to deal with the weather extremes that we have in the South.

All that to say, Barn South doesn't have any of these problems. They've absolutely nailed the rustic charm combined with modern sophistication that all barn wedding venues should aspire to.

The entire venue is thoughtfully designed, the barn feels fresh and inviting, with its high, bright ceilings and ample windows, leaving plenty of room for couples to make it their own.The outdoor areas are just as special. There’s a peaceful, natural vibe to the property that makes every corner feel like a photo-worthy backdrop.

If you’re after a venue that feels classic but not overly traditional, Barn South really delivers.

Beautiful venue. Well maintained. Just be careful of the control joints in the sidewalks; they are the perfect size to ruin ladies' narrow heels.

We booked their venue for September of 2022! We booked back in August of 2021 and it was like a race for the fall dates! Barn South is highly desired and for a good reason. Their space is clean and simple. You can dress it up as much as you would like or dress it down, it's still a beautiful venue any which way you look at it. The owners put a ton of work into their venue and it continues to show as the update small things here and there.

Also, brides, If you do your ceremony outdoors, I recommend setting up your Alter to be against the barn vs facing the field. No squinty faces that way. However it all depends on the season and time of your ceremony. Any way you choose to set up your special day is correct and will look spectacular.

Working with owners of this venue was easy and they made us feel very welcomed. I will recommend this venue over and over.

This venue is swoon worthy at every view! We had only seen one other venue when we began wedding planning and that was before we found Barn South. Once we met with Rachel and saw the space, we didn't need to see any more. My goal when searching was to find a space that needed little to no decorations - THIS IS THAT VENUE! It is so stunning we really did the bare minimum in decorations and it still looked so personalized and beautiful! One of my personal favorite things is the windows that span the height of the walls on each side allowing the most breathtaking natural light to flood in. And when the sun sets, the lighting situation is gorgeous.

We LOVE Beth!! She is the sweetest human and a pure joy to work with. She promptly answered all of our questions, provided so much insight in the setup/layout of our vendors, and to be honest she just has that energy you want around you on your wedding day. I am sure that between Beth and my coordinator they handled things I will never know about. We could not be more happy or bigger fans of this space! We can't wait to get pictures back and add to our review. Thank you Barn South for being the very best - we love you!

We're so excited about having our wedding here in a few months! Rachel, the owner, is amazing!! She's so helpful, responds fast, super sweet, and has a great personality. This venue is to die for. A modern touch to a barn, with beautiful wooden doors and white elegant walls inside. An air streem for the grooms sweet and a beautiful area for the bride. There's areas for the wedding outside it inside. It's a beautiful venue. Highly recommend!!

Where does one start with this venue. This venue is absolutely stunning. It's timeless, modern and everything I could have asked for on my wedding day. Rachel and Beth from the beginning have been accommodating/helpful before, during and after the wedding. They even let us have my pupper on my wedding day which made it 10x more special. From the bridal suite to the grooms airstream it was the perfect aesthetic my husband and I were going for. This venue is overall breathtaking! Couldn't be more thankful and blessed to have had my wedding at this venue!

This was such a beautiful venue!! Absolutely gorgeous, very spacious atmosphere, and truly the look of a Cinderella story ending! Everyone was very kind while I worked with Let’s Booth It. We all had so much fun taking pictures. I would definitely recommend this place.
