As a Tejano (Texas Mexican),this is the worst “Mexican” food in the entire area code. Go to Los Mex in Oxford. The rating is not indicative of what’s deserving. I’ve had friends (who say it’s the best Mexican ever lol) in this area recommend it and I’ve tried it 3 times since being here and it’s not it. Make your own Mexican at home and it’ll turn out better, I promise. Every time, the salsa tastes like marinara sauce from Little Caesar’s & they constantly mess up the orders. For a $16 meal I received a small container of rice and beans. The container of beans is half full of Vienna sausage or hotdog meat…..yes Iook at the photos. The $18 meal came with 3 trays of salad/guacamole and the rice and beans still came in a small container, rather being in one of the trays by itself.
Overall is not a Mexican restaurant. Pro Mexican tip I tell everyone: “If it’s got cantina or grill in the name, it’s not authentic Mexican”. Baja affirms this idea.

The food was good, but the service was amazing. Their guacamole was smooth, seasoned well, and delicious. I had the beef chimaconga with out beans and rice, it was good. My daughter had cheese pizza and fries. Her comment was "It was good, but tasted the same as all the other Mexican restaurants we go to." She's 8 and has her own ability to make decisions.

The food is okay. They have a big parking lot since they take up Dollar trees and five below's parking spaces. Which leaves people shopping at those two stores having to park at the far end of the parking lot or at the other end of the parking lot. So if you have someone that is disabled you might want to drop them out at the door.

I've been eating here since they've opened and it's the best!
I order Pollo Lupido mostly as it comes with veggie mix of steamed or grilled broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrots, etc. The grill chicken is juicy, and delicious. I ask for no seasonings as sometimes seems too salty for me but that's my taste buds. I've ordered other things and they were excellent as well.
The staff and management are very friendly and eager to please. They are very clean with health department ratings 99.

Great place!! Me and my mother came here together and when we walked in, we were very happy with the atmosphere. When we sat down, our waitress was very kind and understanding, probably one of my favorite waitresses I've ever had! We ordered our food and it came way quicker than we had expected. The food was AMAZING! I definitely enjoyed my visit!!

I had not eaten here for a couple of years , but it was good then. We met some relatives we haven't seen in years I recommended this place, and we met today. and I regret it.
My mother and I ordered taco salad fajita bowls with chicken. It didn't have barely any chicken. It didn't even look like chicken. It was orange? I had to dig to ever find it. Little tiny 1/2 strip pieces of whatever it was. Very small , lettuce was soggy, no sour cream or pico, the beans at the bottom were runny and made the whole bottom of the bowl soggy.
It was disgusting.
I'm embarrassed because I recommended this place.
I honestly don't know how it stays so busy.
But the waitress was very nice, smiling, and attentive.

First time coming to this restaurant and never again.

Went to the bar tonight to have some drinks with friends and ordered a margarita. After about two sips I stated this drink tastes like it’s WATERED DOWN . I pushed it aside and told another bartender. About 5 minutes later I saw a bartender fill a GALLON pitcher 4 times WITH WATER 💦 😳 and pour into a JUG with the mixer of margarita mix. After we were done eating I asked for my check and saw the margarita was on my bill. I asked for it to be taken off she said no problem. When the manager asked why? I walked up to explain why and he stated all liquor are FINAL SALE. I said I am sorry I am not paying for a 11.00 that was mostly WATER 💦. He threaten me that he going to CALL the cops over and over again if you don’t pay your bill. I said to him do what you need to do but I am not paying for it and I went to sit down. Then 5 minutes later he walked up to me and said I will correct your bill. I stated you do what is RIGHT and I will do the same. So, I am letting everyone know ALL margaritas at Baja’s are ALL WATERED DOWN and you as a customers are being ripped off.
