We absolutely loved our stay at Backland! The food was delicious and such a stress free element to have included on site. We enjoyed the breakfast choices, bagged lunches, and delicious dinners. The outdoor environment is relaxing with kayaks, fishing, outdoor family games, and s’mores at night. The lobby is gorgeous with plenty of board games to play and comfortable seating along with a warm fire. It really feels like you’re away from any technology stresses and off on a special getaway. The tents are incredible with fantastic forest views from the beautiful sliding glass doors. They were comfortable and warm. The stars are amazing and the staff helped us use their telescope. We came for a family reunion and felt it has been our most relaxing and unique vacation! We love Backland! We especially loved and appreciated Carly and Jodie going above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect for each family member! Thank you!

We had the most enjoyable stay at Backland. There were a few different places to choose from, but I chose this one and I was not disappointed. All the facility indoors were very clean and well kept. The food was delicious. There were a lot of options for my kids and I to choose from to eat. The rooms were very clean And updated. We had all the amenities we needed and the view was spectacular. There were fun activities for my kids to do like a scavenger hunt, we really enjoyed the kayaks, and the s’mores were a lot of fun at night by the fire. They also had telescopes for us to view Jupiter, and that was really fun for us as well. The staff were all incredible. Everybody was very kind and knowledgeable. They even gave us tips for our next trip to Sedona. We had a magical stay at back land and we will definitely return.

Backland was a great place to stay! The grounds are gorgeous, and the tents were super comfortable, even when temps got below freezing at night. We loved the on-site restaurant as well. The staff were all extremely kind and gave great recommendations for local hikes and attractions. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in northern AZ!

Backland Glamping is a beautiful place with so many things to do! You can go kayaking, lay in the sun, make s’more’s, go bird watching, play games, (like soccer, throw plastic axes, or just a game of kickball!) The staff is so kind, and can help you out with whatever you need! The tents are so nice, and they have a beautiful view! The beds are cozy, and so is the couch! It is a wonderful place to stay. The lobby is nice, and they have a breakfast buffet, with so many delicious options! You can also go to the lobby for lunch and dinner, and it is really yummy. On your way there, they have an audio tour so you won’t get lost! When you arrive at your tent, (you can check in at any time) there is a manual that tells you everything you need to know for your visit! Overall, it is a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

This is definitely worth the trip. It was so peaceful and the staff was awesome! There’s plenty to do on and off the property. We checked out several different games for entertainment. Lunch/dinner was delicious and filling (big dinner portions). There’s plenty of trails on the property to
stretch your legs.

We stayed in the suite which had a king sized bed, bunk beds, chair, and sleeper sofa. The shower is very spacious. If you’re sharing this space with others, just know there’s a bathroom door but the top is open which is expected in a tent. There’s an AC/heating unit, miniature fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Oh and if you forget your house slippers, they got you covered!

Such a wonderful experience, the views are incredible. The food and staff were amazing. My family and I loved everything about this trip, the best way to disconnect and make memories. My daughter loved the kayaks, overall 10/10 experience.

What an amazing experience! Everything exceeded expectations! The staff was nice and helpful. The accommodations and shower were great. Food was nothing short than top notch. And the stargazing was spectacular! My kids alradywant to come back! Our only regret was not staying longer!

We recently stayed at Backland Glamping, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tents were incredibly nice and clean, providing the perfect balance of luxury and a connection with nature. The sky view at night was absolutely amazing, with stars twinkling brighter than I’ve ever seen before.

The lobby was warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The location itself is perfect for anyone looking for a serene getaway from the busy world. It’s peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

I highly recommend Backland for anyone who wants a relaxing and unique glamping experience!
