My rental car engine failed 1/2 mile from here which made it ideal and I also had no other options. The carpet had a sickening feel to it and I kept my socks on when possible. The heater was very loud so I didn’t sleep much. This place has some stories to tell/would make a great location for filming something seedy. The room was clean and the stars were bright. My room was big and comfortable, the staff super friendly but very uncoordinated. The AC\heater is very loud. Water in the shower didn't work.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Room was clean and comfortable. The beds feel brand new. Microwave and refrigerator made it easy to keeps snacks.

I was extremely lucky to get the last room they had. Upon arrival, I didn't catch her name. But I think she saw I was pretty worn. She made sure the room was perfect, and it was. It was super clean, that's something I like to see. The sheets smelt like fresh laundry. I say 5 stars because of service, cleanliness, and just my personal opinion. Hopefully I'll never be in California again personally, but I'd stay here anytime.

Thelma was absolutely amazing! I booked thru a third party and even when the hotel was booked almost to capacity with fire fighters due to local fires she still made it happen for me! She cleaned a room and got me in! The room was crisp with beautiful clean white sheets and a beautiful dueve cover. Also, they are under construction but she still makes it all happen efficiently! My tv was giving me trouble and her and the houseman helped me. This is a beautiful, quiet and quaint out of the way place to stay near a casino. I recommend it highly. They are making great updates and I stayed last night, staying again tonight for another great rest. I will definitely be back. Better than staying in run down hustle and bustle of LA Mesa. Kudos to Thelma and staff! Owner needs to be thankful times 10!!

The staff is awesome very accommodating and understandable, everyone involved in the hotel that I encountered was great people, they were polite, courteous, respectful & they are pet friendly just make sure to let them know that you need a pet friendly room when you make your reservation.

Surprisingly great stay! Super clean, pet-friendly, updated rooms with everything you need. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean, stocked with soaps and towels. Very friendly staff and bright enough lights in the parking lot to feel secure at night. I was passing through on a short road trip and just needed somewhere to sleep. I didn't see many options for things to do or places to eat around, except for Golden Acorn Casino. It's only 8 mins away and great for dinner.

Was driving back to Az and was not feeling well. Found this place and got the last room. It was clean and had soap, lotion and shampoo travel size which was grear. Has a fridge, ac, microwave and tv woth streaming apps! Bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. It is right off the 8 freeway so very convient. Dont let the exterier keep you away. It is a great place for a recharge.
