This is my second time coming here, and they do fantastic coffee no matter what time of day! I saw they had pistachio cake and latte, so I decided to try it out. Both came out so delicious, and I took my time to enjoy the flavor of both. I definitely recommend anyone who likes or is starting out trying coffee to come here.

Absolutely lovely Yemeni coffeeshop! Beautifully themed and delicious drinks and sweets to enjoy. I love that there’s a local café that celebrates the richness of Yemeni culture. 🇾🇪

Employee/Owner is homophobic but the food is good.

My girlfriend and I ordered the honeycomb, coconut cake, and a medium kettle of coffee. With tip, it came out to just over $32. We sat in the corner and worked quietly for about 45 minutes (I don't remember exactly how long). My girlfriend kissed me on the forehead, and the man behind the counter noticed and then glanced at our hands joined together under the table. He told us, "This is a family location, please control your emotions." We were caught off guard and confused, and then he repeated himself. We packed up our belongings, and my girlfriend shouted, "We'll go be gay somewhere else," as we exited. He responded, "Ok, thank you," and then we went to The Alchemist in Tower.

We were gonna buy some beans, too. Shame.

Update with response from owner: no one is allowed to kiss, apparently

i asked for something milk-based and was recommended the bab-al-yemen latte. as someone who never tries coffee/cafes, it was delicious. i plan on returning to order the same drink and a different pastry (i’m not a fan of honey but wanted to try the bread bc it was visually appealing)

Prefect place for afternoon tea. The tea pots are very generous for the price and the tea tastes amazing. I'm guessing the coffee would be good too but I haven't had it yet. The shop owner is very kind and welcoming and the customer service is top notch. The sweets are to die for. Nothing is overly sweet and goes so well with the tea. Absolutely come here for the immaculate vibes, great drinks and snacks. Great place to unwind. Also when you order a pot of tea, you get served a lovely tray with a little tea candle to keep your pot hot and fresh!

Will definitely come back! Great tasting drinks with really nice presentation. The chairs were comfy and stylish, good to sit for a while and study. The atmosphere was 20/10, I could see it getting loud if busy but that wasn't an issue when I was there. Will come back and recommend to friends

Came here to try something different and the owner who’s a very nice guy recommended the mufawar coffee which has an herbal after taste. Delicious! And for desert, the khalyet nahel (honeycomb). You won’t be disappointed!
