We stayed in the Captain's Quarters at Awesome View for 2 nights in August. This is a lovely place to stay, with a high standard of accommodation, with lovely bedding and bathroom. We received a very warm welcome and were given some excellent advice about good places to eat. The sea view from the private balcony is lovely, and there is a pleasant walk into town along the waterfront. Susie and Gina were very kind to us and allowed us to leave our luggage with them on our last day while we waited for ferry to come in.||We would recommend this B & B and would definitely return is we went back to Kodiak.

A great place to stay when visiting Kodiak, close to town and on the water with a truly awesome view of the north entrance channel and offshore islands. The “Mermaid’s Lair” provided pleasant accommodations for two and a great feeling of privacy; from the deck it seemed like you had no neighbors. I must question, however, calling the establishment a bed and breakfast. The provisions for our 3-night stay consisted of 6 Keurig pods (4 coffee, 2 tea). Nothing else. Plates and flatware were available for the food we purchased. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

We stayed in the Mermaids Lair. Our room was very clean! The view is AWESOME, the fishing boats and float planes are true Kodiak. We enjoyed waking up and looking at the mermaid decorations, walking to town, leisurely coffees and the museums. The inn keeper was helpful efficient. We will return.

We stayed here for three nights in late June. Our room was a cozy nest at the top of the house, quiet and peaceful. We felt like family..and we're treated like royalty. The room has lots of amenities--Coffeemaker, snacks, refrigerator and microwave, beautiful new bathroom...most comfortable bed ever....many more! It's convenient to town, lovely view, so much character. I would happily return!

We stayed two enjoyable nights in August. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the water. We were in Captain's Quarters. Easy to find, near town. Clean modern and comfortable. Our specific required going down one set of stairs then up another- both outdoors, if this would be a factor.

Awesome View B and B is a private cozy place. Very modern accommodations with privacy. There is a deck outside and nice amenities. The bed in the Captains Quarters is so comfortable. Great place to stay!

Awesome place to stay in Kodiak no longer a bed and breakfast but who needs that anyway Kodiak is an awesome place to visit and this is an awesome place to stay
