We love this place! A very traditional breakfast spot, with great dishes and really good portions. Our waitress was great and the service was fantastic! A little bit noisy atmosphere, but still love it! I ask for the gluten free pancakes and they were delicious.

I always wondered why people keep coming there. So I finally went.

There was the initial wait..

The food was delicious and fresh. The waitress was amazing checking on us at least 4 or 5 times.

The blueberry crepes. Oh Yummy!!!

This is your old school breakfast diners with the old fashion furniture and the countertop service. The menu is filled with so many amazing options the hardest part is deciding what to order! Service is hit or miss depending on who your server is. But this place does get full on the weekends! The coffee is good ol' diner tasting coffee! The food was delicious and the portions were just right not too big not too small! Great dining experience! Crepes are good! But the best is biscuits and gravy!! They do have a small parking lot.

I heard the pancakes were good and so we went for it. Ordered the churro pancakes which come in 4. I just had 2 and shared the rest cause portions were huge. Coffee was nice, omellette was good. Definitely order the pacakes! Also ordered a bisquit with gravy but I didn't like at all, maybe too much black pepper for me!

Local breakfast spot in Chula Vista
They have a special during the week which was pancakes, eggs and a side of sausage or bacon for only 8, a steal given how massive the portions are. I also liked the French Toast Sandwich, it was hearty and stuffed with ham.

Nice people but I didn’t like the food. It was very average. Coffee was over $3.50 and real cream wasn’t even available… just dairy-free fake-flavoured coffee pods. I wanted to eat outdoors on the patio— that’s the entire reason why I came here (some of us still don’t like crowded restaurants with sick travelers)— and the patio was closed with the seats locked up.

A friend and I were looking for a breakfast place. He recommended Aunts Emma. When we got there, the parking was full. We had to wait until it became available. We got there after morning rush hour. We were seated right away. The servers were polite and friendly. We got our order quickly. I ordered a chicken fajitas omelet with pancakes. My friend ordered a steak and eggs with hashed brown, with pancakes.
The plating was good with a very generous portion. It was a filler.
The only critic I have was that the chicken fajita were in the overcooked side. Everything else was fine, including the omelet and hashed brown.
Overall, I rate the establishment of a 5 star.
Parking is limited.
Handicap parking is available.
Establishment is tidy and clean.
Friendly service.
Good family atmosphere.
