As a student of massage, I appreciate finding someone that knows what they are doing. I see Mia regularly. Aside from being a kind and nice person, she offers a strong and firm massage, which is my preference, and is obviously versed in many of the techniques and modalities, including Shiatsu and Deep Tissue. Asian Essence is a professional, respectful, and clean salon, if I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you for setting the bar in such a high standard of service.

My first experience at Asian Essence. I booked with May (based upon other reviews) and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I had a terrible trigger point in my back for weeks, and it was gone the next day after my massage. I would highly recommend May and I would return.

We had the couples Swedish massage, it was an absolutely amazing experience. May and Kiki are very professional. I love it and plan on returning. The place is very clean and the ambiance is very relaxing.

Had an AMAZING 90 minute deep tissue massage from May. Probably one of the best I've had in my life so far and I've had a lot of masages. She was very kind, professional and thorough. I felt so at ease and every muscle was being addressed so well that at one point I was convinced that there must have been some mistake and I had booked a 3 hour instead of a 90 minute. When I checked with her she assured me it was a 90 minute and 10 minutes were left. I walked out smiling and floating with happiness. Not only will I come again but I already have a list of family and friends I'll be telling them about this! A hidden gem and such a great experience! Thank you May!

WORST MASSAGE EVER!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

This was the WORST couples massage experience I’ve had. My partner and I have been to the other location in oakbrook and LOVED IT. So we decided to give this location a chance, as we presumed we would have a similar experience.

First off, we asked for a deep tissue massage…. Let me say there was NO effort behind the massage, no pressure after repeatedly asking for more pressure. My partner had the same experience. Almost 3/4ths way done the massage, my masseuse left the room and switched with another lady who came in with COLD hands. Then, they had the AUDACITY to upcharge $5 for paying with a credit card. This was suppose to be a romantic get away massage for my partner and I, and instead we left feeling SCAMMED. Worst $180 EVER spent. I never leave reviews online, so that really should be enough said.

Best massage I've had in the state. They have consistently been able to work with my erratic schedule, always making time for me to get in for a massage. If you get the change asi for Kiki, she's the best by listing to your needs and being present during the whole session.
