My daughter had her wedding and reception there tonight New Years Eve 2024. It was the best wedding I have been to in quite awhile. Decorated for Christmas with white lights on trees.The food catered in was so delicious. The staff very pleasant. Definitely a place to have any event.

What a dream this venue was! We got married 2/4/23 and it was the perfect spot! We loved that there was a bride and groom suite on site and we could have the ceremony and reception at one location- no need for photographers and guests to travel from place to place. Everyone at AHF was easy to communicate with and professional. I would highly recommend this venue to any future couple. *BONUS* we could have our dogs on the property for our special day!

We got married 12/31/2023 at their Galena location and we had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ashton Hill and their staff! Our day of coordinator, Emily went above and beyond making sure we were on the same page with one another, as well as making sure everything ran smoothly the day of! No detail was forgotten! The facility was beautiful and the staff did a fantastic job flipping everything around from our indoor ceremony (we got married NYE) to cocktail hour/reception! This venue is just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is amazing. We worked closely with Emily R. & Sadie. They were our coordinators and they were sooo helpful with anything and everything. They were also so sweet and super responsive. They handled my indecisiveness and back and forth with different decisions with ease. I cannot recommend them enough. We got married October 14th and received so many compliments about the venue. It truly is stunning and they handle everything. Can’t recommend enough.

I will say if booking here, be aware of the 2 night minimum stay for room blocks most Galena hotels require. That was our one major hurdle. (We ended up booking a room block through a second hotel in Dubuque, IA that allowed one night stays)

We had the best wedding day at Ashton Hill Farm in Galena! We got so many compliments on the venue and it had spectacular views. It was awesome back drop for pictures. MJ Colby was wonderful to work with as our day of coordinator. It was so nice to have someone make sure all the moving parts of a wedding day were in line. She truly was a huge help and we couldn’t have done it without her!!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience getting married at Ashton Hill. Our day was absolutely perfect and the staff truly went above and beyond for us. I want to make special mention of our coordinator Sadie. We chose to take advantage of the coordination company Anne and Ellis that is offered with Ashton Hill and worked with Sadie through our whole planning process and the day of. We are so appreciative of everything Sadie did for us, she truly went what we feel was above and beyond to make sure it was the best day for us. We are so thankful to Sadie and Ashton Hill for helping us have the best day possible!

We were one of the first couples to sign up to have our wedding at AHF Galena and unfortunately covid delayed it. We ended up having our wedding in October 2021 - which worked out because the fall colors and sunset were BEAUTIFUL. We also had nothing but top-notch communication and support from AHF, especially our venue and day of coordinator - Maddie. She worked her butt off to make our day go without a hitch and to have everything set up perfectly. The bar staff was also very courteous and accommodating, and the preparation rooms were spacious. The only 'down side' was that phone reception was not very good - but if you plan ahead knowing reception isn't strong you will be fine. All in all we would not have had our wedding anywhere else!

Very clean and well lit venue. Shaded areas are limited, but the building itself provided enough shade in a sunny day to capture family photos.
