Great atmosphere and location. Bathroom was super clean.

2 orders took 45 minutes to come out when there was 3 tables in the entire place being used. Both waitresses were nice, but not sure why they were both our waitresses? Asked what the Big Russell Challenge was and never got an answer because "it takes over an hour to prepare"... so yea. Definitely didn't order that.

White cheese sauce was definitely from a jar or can. Food was good, but not great.

Sydney was fantastic. She recommended some great dishes for us to try. The fried chicken was juicy and crispy! I don't think we've seen a pork tenderloin that size! Great bar type atmosphere with pool tables and other fun activities. Will be back to try the steak nachos 😋

Even though I had heard about Asher's for quite some time this was actually my first time going. I really love the atmosphere and the decorations that they had up, it really made you feel at home in a way. We shared the cheese curds to start, they were served with ranch and were pretty tasty. I tried the barbecue pulled pork sandwich and french fries. They were quite good, I asked for a little bit extra barbecue but the meat was nice and tender and the fries were perfect. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich, he enjoyed his as well. The service was great and it wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be returning to try something new on the menu!

I don't know if they know what the difference between a horseshoe and a pony. I ordered buffalo chicken horseshoe expecting two chicken breast and two pieces of toast. Instead, I got a pony portion just with a mountain of cold fries. We made the trip from Peoria and won't go back again. The Asher Bombs were the only thing decent and worth paying for. It was perfect, we came here for my birthday and we left with big smiles and our stomachs full. We had the Asher bombs and cheese curds along with some of the burgers, we all got different ones but they were all great. Our server, Tony, was great. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. The pool table was free play too so that was a great bonus as well. 10/10 would recommend, and I will be returning!👏👏

We have not been here for dinner since last year and stopped there tonight. What a disappointment.
We both ordered a glass of white zin wine and was told they no longer have it. I ordered a Maker's Mark and my friend ordered Jameson. Again we're told they no longer stock it in the bar.
My burger was acceptable, my friends tenderloin was gristle in the center and she left it. Both fries were cold.
The kitchen staff was playing loud music until the owner quieted down the party.
Service was slow and the surprise in the bill. Cheaper to pay by cash.
There was a noticeable decline in the quality of the restaurant and we will not return.

Six of us in our party. All of our fries were burned dark brown, with a consistency of croutons. Three Half-Tenderlion sandwiches had cut marks around the edge with no breading on these cuts, and all these straight angles. Clearly a whole one sloppily cut, paper thin, no seasoning. Kids had chicken fingers and hated them. My Smothered Steak sandwich lacked the sauteed onions and mushrooms or they were pulverized, who knows. No refills from staff, never asked how our food was, and we waited forever to get out of there. I asked some locals I work with about this place after the fact and they said this is common.

Great place great employees great ambiance! In my humble opinion the best eatery in Pekin. Have had this place at least 5 times and personally is difficult for me to order anything but the tenderloin but have witnessed many menu items from my dining companions. This place is truly a work of art when it comes to dining. And as an added incentive to try this place they have an extensive top shelf stock in their bar.
