This is a special place, in the same family for generations. The site itself is very beautiful and authentic. Wonderful swimming pool. Very well kept up. Old world feel. The staff is very nice, professional and welcoming.|My only down is the food. The breakfast avocado toast has almost no avocado. I saw that each day. Also, the bread is generic. There are excellent bakeries in Tucson! Too bad since the setting is so beautiful. Soon back with room service. And I still absolutely recommend this place.

We had such a pleasant surprize when we arrived at the Arizona Inn. It’s beautiful! Lovely gardens, nice spacious room, clean and very comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the ice cream social. I am definitely coming back to the Arizona Inn!

I have gone to the Audubon Bar many times for Sunday brunch, in all seasons. The Inn is a beautiful, historic Tucson experience.
But...
The dining service is consistently very slow (example: today, a Sunday in July, my party of 2 was able to sit inside immediately when we arrived at 10:30. The outdoor patio was empty. We got our drinks promptly and ordered soon after. The food arrived at 11:28. I suspect they cut their kitchen and service staff way back in the summer. Dining in the winter is a similar experience--there are more people working but the service isn't any faster. To their credit, the service staff are very pleasant and polite.)
The food is "ok" bordering on "pretty good." The menu is a mix of traditional staples and variations with a regional flair. There are definitely restaurants in town that serve food that's more interesting and better executed. The prices at the Inn are fair for the portions, considering that dining out anywhere is expensive. If I were staying as a guest at the Inn and counting on eating one or more meals a day there, I would be satisfied--neither disappointed nor impressed.

Old world charm. It’s a classy and relaxing place that I would highly recommend. It’s not a corporate hotel, it’s such a nice change. My grandmother used to come and stay here for a month, and I can see why. Nestled in the heart of Tucson, you would think you are out on a remote ranch. The landscaping is immaculate, the service impeccable and the food in the dining rooms is excellent

I hosted a small dinner party at Arizona Inn--the food and service were outstanding. The great setting and fantastic weather made for a memorable evening. Working with Crystal was a pleasure and the prices were quite fair. I was impressed with every aspect of the event and recommend Arizona Inn without reservation.

We've stayed here countless times over many years, all seasons, Christmas family reunion, just R & R. The Arizona Inn is in a class by itself - truly a Tucson icon. It is always gracious and welcoming, like visiting family or good friends. The rooms are filled with comfortably used antiques I would be quite happy to have in my own home. The food is very good and the grounds always lovely. It's a peaceful enclave in the middle of the city, quiet, gated and safe for grandchildren to explore. And it's also actually pet free!

Wonderful hotel, with tons of history and charm. The pool and public spaces are fantastic. My only potential criticism would be that our room was a bit long in the tooth an could use a refresh- but this is definitely a hotel that is all about its history so it sort of fits. (And the history is cool- built by a woman, Isabella Greenway, who was the first Congresswoman from AZ, was married to not one but two guys who were Rough Riders at San Juan Hill, and much more). For example the closet is huge, like 8'x 6', over 20 square feet, because people used to move in for months at a time with steamer trunks. It is all casita style- so you have a little patio and the rooms are big. It is sort of a campus, and has beautiful gardens. It is very charming. and very central, near the university. I think they do a big wedding business. We only stayed one night en route to our stay at a dude ranch south of Tucson (Elkhorn ranch) and it was perfect. Definitely going back next year. The New York Times had an article about it being Linda Ronstadt's favorite hotel when she comes to visit her family.

This restaurant fulfilled all my expectations.
It was an aniversary for us and we wanted something different and nice. I'm happy we chose the Arizona Inn. The food was fantastic and the service was top shelf.
Thank u Carolina!
We hope to see you on the next visit.
