At EL-MP, we value honesty and attention to detail. During a business meal with our team and family, we encountered mixed results. The taco meat tasted unusual, potentially affected by prior preparation. Both of our seafood pastas, meant to include octopus, instead contained crab without prior notice—an unexpected substitution. While the servers were attentive and friendly, the loud music and idle TVs detracted from the ambiance, especially given the minimal customer presence at the time. Overall, the experience was ok, but for the cost, greater attention to detail is warranted.

Nice little gem in Summit. Tacos were huge and delicious not cheap on the meat! Their menu has a lot of variety.

The drinks were the star of the nights so many options that will definitely be returning to try more.

The service was not great here. Our waiter seemed to forget about us on many occasions. My sister order chicken Alfredo pasta and was told at 8:30 (when they close at 12) that they didn't have anymore but was then brought out a complimentary one around 10pm that looked rushed, unappetizing and was missing the chicken. We received to shots on the house but the waiter never explained what it was and it was extremely sweet.The best thing was the Birria tacos, they was flavorful and tasted great. The worst part was that the drink we ordered was pretty but it tasted like they forgot to pour in the alcohol.

We came for my birthday! Had dinner and drinks! Christian was our server! He was incredible from the start! He made sure they were cautious with my dairy allergy & kept the fresh drinks coming! We will definitely return! Such a cute place and the bathroom was such a vibe!

Disappointing Experience at Arenas in Summit, IL

After seeing the hype on TikTok and Instagram, my wife and I drove 45 minutes to check out Arenas. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The restaurant had a decent atmosphere, but that’s where the positives ended.

The service was slow and frustrating, starting with a 45-minute wait for drinks asked for water and still did not receive the water until after our food. After another 30-minute wait, servers had a nasty attitude not welcoming at all, our drinks were still wrong. Our food order took an hour to arrive and when it did, the presentation was sloppy and rushed.

The food was a real disappointment: the rice was bland, my wife’s stuffed pineapple tasted sour, and my crab legs were tiny, dry, and poorly cleaned. To top it off, my wife found several pieces of hair in her food, and when we mentioned it, the staff insinuated it was hers, which was incredibly unprofessional.

Additionally, the wall near our table was stained with hot sauce and ketchup splatterings , which was absolutely grotesque and just added to the overall negative experience.

Overall, the experience was frustrating, and the food was subpar. Not worth the hype, or the drive at all!!

This was my first experience trying a dish with piña, cream and veggies. Was rich to my taste which made it a bit challenging to eat. I ordered a piña colada the taste wasn’t What I expected.
The dish called camarones with garlic; was very disappointed. I expected the shrimp bigger, but were very small.
The prices were too high.
The had good environment, with music. Very pleasant.
Customer service was excellent.
The place was very clean. Love it!😊
