The experience was horrible, I genuinely hated it, front desk was fine but once I got to the nail tech she kept indirectly pointing out how impossible it was to get the polish, to which she could’ve just turned me away. But instead she still put an acrylic nail. This was for a simple repair, the design was completely botched and the color didn’t even match remotely to the original design and color. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons for repairs and each one get it similar to the other nails but not only was it not close to the original color, when I tried to mention it was the wrong color she proceeded to explain how each nail salon is different, yet every salon but this one could fix it nicely. Also somehow something happened and now my nail is in agonizing pain when it wasn’t beforehand. I wouldn’t have even gone if my regular nail salon wasn’t open. Now my sensory issues keep going off real badly and I’ve had difficulty breathing due to how much I’ve been hyperventilating. I’m getting this fixed at my
Normal nail tech and cancel my other plans tomorrow. The attached photo I shouldn’t have to explain, it’s the index finger and the gold should be the same throughout the nails but it’s a light gold and the design looks like it’s been zoomed in. Ill add a comparison too. They made me pay $15 for it too and it’s this bad. I might as well rip the nail off whole, my visual issues can’t handle looking at it for much longer.

I usually spend at least 4 hours at AQ for my services. Leo and his team are phenomenal! They are sweet and Leo always finds time to fit me in as well as rocking the art I request. The wine is complimentary which is a plus for me. This is a safe space and the prices are wonderful! My long nails can last 2-4 weeks!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I met Timmy as a walk-in a couple weeks ago and knew I had to book with him again to trust him with a bit more of a design-work appointment. as expected, he NAILED it (yes, pun intended). The nails (with acrylic tips) have held up in strength and absolutely zero chipping—and i’m usually pretty rough with my hands.😂

I recently had my nails done at another salon and the experience was terrible. Julie was able to give me the exact nail design I wanted AND a pedicure in less time than I spent at the other salon. Julie and the team here at AQ really took the time to fix a mistake they did not make.

I don’t get my nails done often, but I would go to AQ to get them done. Today I went to get a gel manicure. Everything went fine and i left loving my nails. When I arrived home I noticed that my nail had a chip in it. Since I just left I decided to go back and get my nail fixed. When I arrived the guy at the front counter was nice and I explained to him the situation and he said that they would fix that for me. The guy that fixed my nails rushed me and I couldn’t find the right nail color I just got because someone else must have had the nail swatches that had the color I just got. The guy just picked a random dark purple color that was close to what I got. Except it was lighter and you can definitely tell it’s not the same color. I said “that’s not the same color the color that I had had midnight in the name.” He wouldn’t listen to me and insisted that that was the color that I had on. When he put the color on I said that’s not the color and he ignored me. He even rushed the gel lamp and didn’t let my nail fully cure. Since he wasn’t listening to me I just walked out of there feeling frustrated. I didn’t want to cause a scene because I rarely complain about things but I wasn’t about to have a piece of my gel missing when I just got it done. I don’t think i’ll be back after feeling rushed and not listened too.

1 week later: All the gel popped off as well… not even worth the money in the first place

I asked for dip with tip (short) no design anything crazy. I go to check out and was told it was $60. If you look at the prices online it says $50+. One would assume when you get short nails (dip with tip) you would pay the base price. Not an additional $10.

My daughter got her nails done as well and they are even shorter than mine and they charged her $66! This is outrageous! They are letting the techs charge whatever they want.

This is enough to make me not come back. The final product was not worth the cost.
