My fiancé and I had the best stay at the Apple Blossom Inn. Candy is the perfect host and helped us personalize our stay. The room was comfortable, the property was gorgeous, and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! Candy made us banana nut waffles the first day, french toast the second day, and delicious apple blossom pancakes our last day. This was the perfect place to celebrate our engagement and see Yosemite. If you have a chance to stay at this charming bed and breakfast, book it immediately!

The location of the property is awesome! Candy, the owner’s hospitality is mind blowing! She knows how to keep balance between privacy and engaging her guests! Our 4 nights stay in her property was amazing! I loved the breakfast and she made me PERFECT over-medium fried eggs! We will definitely go back again! Highly recommended B&B in Ahwahnee, CA. Staying at Apple Blossom Inn is always a pleasant getaway! We have been coming to the Inn since about 2008 while visiting Yosemite or just to get out of the city for a few days and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. Candy always goes out of her way to accommodate our needs and is a goldmine of helpful info about restaurants and attractions in Yosemite and the surrounding towns. |While a bummer that Covid restrictions were preventing Candy from making hot breakfast for a while, there was always a plethora of continental breakfast options and snacks provided and I'm happy to report that breakfasts are back, baby! Our latest visit had us once again awakening to the smell of apple pancakes and fresh coffee. I, for one, am not a morning person but Candy's vibe is always cheerful without being too much first thing in the morning. Enjoying breakfast and soaking in the morning sun and the view from the patio is always a favored leisure activity and a great way to start the day. |The patio is just as good at night as well! There's plenty of seating for stargazing with a beverage and the hot tub is always clean and hot! Whether we have gone hiking or just sat around reading all day, a soak is always a great way to wind down. |During cooler weather, the fire in the common area wood stove creates a cozy mountain cabin ambience that is perfect for reading, watching one of the available movies, playing a game, etc.|The room we usually stay in is spacious and has a nice little balcony. The bed is comfy and the linens are neat and clean. The bathrooms are also always clean, stocked, and in good working order. What more can you ask for?|All in all, Apple Blossom Inn provides great accommodations at a good value and we can't wait until our next visit!

Lovely B&B about 40 mins from Yosemite. We loved everything. Sitting in the hot tub on the porch, far from light pollution, gives one a cosmic soak. Note: The hot tub was working great, although a previous review said it wasn't working for their visit. It's back, and it's a beautiful part of staying here.

PS - We had shared the big space with another set of people downstairs, who brought their dog. They gave the Apple Blossom a 1-star review, but if you take a look at the other reviews they've posted, they seem to be chronically one-starring places for arbitrary (probably imaginary) slights and offenses taken.

Worse, I noticed they implied that our host had lied about our previous trips. We have stayed there 3 times over the past 10 years, and we're planning to come back before too much time passes. Perhaps they asked one of our young sons about our previous trips, and since they were so young for our 1st 2 visits, they may have said they don't have memories.

We do have great memories as a family staying with Candy. I really can't connect the other party's complaints with what we observed while we shared the space with them.

Beautiful location, surrounded by Apple Orchards. Room was comfortable and cozy. Fireplace was so warming and pretty. We even borrowed an old movie and watched it in the room.
Breakfast was tasty, apple waffles! Filling and warming. Candy was caring and great at hospitality. She offered jacuzzi though we did not have an opportunity to enjoy. Loved It. Location was as I say just wonderful! My friend said the same, in fact he wants to return over the Holidays! Thank You Candy!

This is a hidden gem near Yosemite! Candy the owner is very warm and very friendly. Her homemade hot baked apple and waffles for breakfast was amazing. Other guests also loved it.
Our room were very clean and very quiet. I watched the beautiful quiet night sky right out of our room balcony. With short of labors these days, she cleans and cook and do the books with a friendly smiles. She definitely is an amazing woman! Unless you want to stay in a hotel where you basically speak to no one and watch TV, staying at Candys bed and breakfast feels welcoming and home cooking breakfast await for you in the morning. Cereal bars, fruits, milk and coffee available at all times. I wish I can stay longer but I will definitely be back next time.
Her location is also very close to Oakhurst, a main town with many restaurants, brewery and supermarkets. Her location is about 1.5 hr to Yosemite, 45 min to Mariposa. Its been a pleasure experience staying here and sight seeing at Yosemite. Check out this gem, you will not be disappointed.

My first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and I so enjoyed this place. Room was warm, inviting and cozy. Very clean everywhere. Shared living space was cozy and warm with a wonderful fireplace always glowing. Breakfast was so delicious, I was looking forward to the Apple Waffles and they exceeded my expectations and hunger lol. I cannot wait to return, location is Beautiful and so convenient to gorgeous Yosemite.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is just amazing and it's quite close to the Yosemite park. Supermarket etc are a just a few kilometers away. Candy is a really nice host and her pancakes are fantastic, so just her breakfast is it worth to stay there. Furthermore we sleeper really good in the beds and had nice and friendly other guests staying with us there.
I can not understand the bad recommendations she has received. The rooms are labeled with signs above the door if you are checking in late and take the wrong room, ok this could happen but who's fault is it? If rooms are labeled and you should know what you book? And if you do something wrong it could be cleared like a normal person...
I can totally recommend to visit this place and enjoy your stay here!
