Prices are okay, but services could be better. Nails I asked for were nothing like the ones I got (I put I wanted designs on my appointment details to try to have someone who is good at them to do my nails). The 'designs' were mediocre star looking shapes. Also got my eyebrows waxed and it must be cheap/bad wax because my brows are still red and slight bumps/irritation and ich still (appointment was 2 days ago). I had been here before and wanted to give them another chance. I don't like to be negative on reviews but after multiple tries, sadly disappointed.

I love this salon and have been coming here for many years. My nails always look great and most of the techs are very friendly. Unfortunately today marks my third bad experience with Jessica. I’m sorry, but she should be fired. She is EXTREMELY rude. She pokes at your fingers or shoves your hand around and gets very agitated if your hand is not positioned exactly how she wants it. She acts like something is wrong with you the client and then yells at you to “relax.” No one knows what you’re trying to say when you just smack at their hand. I let her know I wasn’t happy with how she was treating me. She “cut” my nails down with the sander tool instead of using clippers and a nail file which hurt my fingers. My dip polish looks thin, the color is uneven, and like it’s already grown out. All other salons do three layers of dip and she only did two.Like I said, I’ve had great experiences with some of the other techs who are friendly. Jessica needs to go.

I asked for a full set, french with almond shape. That’s exactly what I got. My nail tech was nice, although I did not get his name. Coming in as a first timer here was a bit awkward. I was crudely directed where to go and I couldn’t figure out where I should put my stuff. Nobody told me about the massage chair or how to move the chair up to be more comfortable. Pedi wasn’t as relaxing as other pedis I’ve had elsewhere but I am satisfied with the final product. The manicure experience was better.

Was in yesterday for a dip powder mani and gel pedi. I’ve been here a few times nothing espectacular but was near by so wanted to try them again. My pedi was an okay, I like Pedis for their massage I got at least a 5min massage at the most. Pedi was okay but felt $45 for a 20min gel pedi was a bit much considering I didn’t get a hot towel or lotion massage. I don’t mind paying but would have liked a better pedi experience. My powder dip mani was also okay. She did an okay job but when I left my nails were stuck to my finger since my nails were so short, which I understand. So I was trying to peel the nail off of my finger and just as I did that my thumb nails started chipping. Both thumb nails chipped, which was very noticeable since you can see the thickness of the powder dip missing. I went in today to get it fixed, since we have photos today. Otherwise I would have waited or not gone back to be honest. But I called to see if they could fix my nails and told them I had a Photoshoot. They put me back with my nail tech Jessica. I was glad they were going to fix my nails considering they were very busy. So she filed my nails and painted them with a clear coat. Didn’t fill in with powder dip or made sure they were smooth. I told her I thought she would put something on top to fill in the chip she said “no I fix for you already”. I said yes but you can still see it, she then again said “ no I fix for you already see”. I would have appreciated if she would have taken the time to actually fix it and not rush to get me out. $46 for a powder dip that lasted me a few hours is not okay. Just sharing my experience, I know they are busy but taking care of customers should be a priority.

I have going to Anson since I moved to the quad city’s right before Covid. Nice and friendly staff. My nail technician I had even thought she had strong accent was very professional, passionate, and knew what she was doing. Now for the cons isn’t a nail salon and spa should like a stress free with calming elevator music and tv free which they have. Overall they know what they’re doing.
