AMAZING. Simply amazing. If you're a shorewood local, going to Anh's Cakery & Cafe is a MUST. Honestly even if we needed to drive a few hours, it would still be well worth it. From the exceptional service to the delicious, high quality, fresh cupcakes/pastries- trust me you will not be disappointed. I love supporting local, small businesses and I am thrilled to add Anh's to my list of go to favorites. Thank you so much to the entire team for all your hard work and effort! You can really tell that this is a place with a lot of heart and soul, that cares about what they do♥️ My fiance and I are getting married this year and we will 100% be ordering our cake & desserts from Anh's!

I ordered a cake for my mother’s birthday and was not disappointed with anything that we were given. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Anh and her crew make gorgeous desserts and treats that are as tasty as they appear. Pricing is very reasonable and the quality is amazing. We plan on making more orders in the future for our events and can’t wait to work with this cakery again! Between the ease of working with them to the packaging of everything alone, I cannot recommend them more!

Came in to order a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday a week before I needed it. They were nice enough to take my order even though they were technically closed that day. The cake was delicious, my only complaint is that I had specifically requested them to write Happy Birthday on the cake and they forgot to. For the price I paid, I feel like a mistake like that should never happen.

I came to this establishment because of the excellent reviews. The lady the greeted me (she was white) wasn’t friendly whatsoever. I inquired about a menu and she just looked at me and said whatever was out was what they sell. I said I was referring to pricing.. she seemed annoyed that I was even there. I said I wanted the carrot cake and she said she didn’t have any. She mentioned that she was in the middle of baking as If I interrupted her. All I wanted was some cupcakes for my son’s birthday and she seemed to care less. Maybe it has to due with race not sure but definitely won’t be back.

Update response: It wasn’t you that treated me poorly. It was the lady working at the front desk. I didn’t get to speak with you directly, but my perception of what happened is the lady was extremely rude to me. She appeared to care less whether I left or not. She didn’t make my experience pleasant. To me, she had an attitude. You yourself seem sweet, but it was just the employee you had that day.

It took me one visit to make Anh Cakery & Cafe my #1 favorite dessert stop. I love the quality and high professionalism they put into every dessert they create. I can truly taste the unique taste of high class dessert that I usually find in downtown Chicago. My favorite part about their desserts is that they understand the levels of ingredients and amounts they use. Making each dessert an elevated taste of perfection. Give them a visit ! I will be back for my strawberry cupcake ❤️ and drinks!
