We are typically hotel people, and we travel at least 4 times a year. Having been in Cody in 2013, and looking for something unique, away from the strip of mediocre motels, we found Angels Keep online. Having some great revues, and a good location we booked for one night in the superior room with the spa tub. From our arrival to our next day departure, it was ALL GOOD. The old church theme is a nice touch, and Barbara the owner/hostess is positively charming. The morning breakfast was also a welcome change from the usual hotel or restaurant fare, and there was plenty of it including fresh fruit and home baked cornbread. If you are looking for a friendly, comfortable experience in this unique cowboy town, may we recommend Angels Keep.

Arriving at Angel’s Keep in the residential area close by the main street in Cody, we were greeted by the owner, Barb. She welcomed us into her home and engaged us in conversation while she outlined the set up at Angel’s Keep. This was basically what time is breakfast, usage of the small fridge, where to find what, and that the kitchen is ‘out of bounds’ to guests due to local laws. Being on holiday (vacation) I had no intention of entering the kitchen area (lol). Our room was compact with a very comfortable bed, and a private bathroom across the hallway. Breakfast was a pleasant experience and an opportunity to meet the other guests. The freshly prepared food was very tasty, served with a smile, and fuelled the early morning conversation nicely. Although we only stayed at Angel’s Keep for two nights before moving onto Yellowstone NP, our hosts Barb & Robert made us feel very welcome and very much ‘at home’, and we were very grateful for the loan of their binoculars and coolbox for our Beartooth Highway day out. The whole experience was made to feel very personal, and will be on our short list when we next visit Cody. Thanks :o)

I love staying in a comfortable, warm, cozy home (or former church,) such as this one so much more than a cold, unfriendly hotel/motel. When we arrived we were shown around the house, a small refrigerator was available for us to use, fresh cookies had been baked, and could be enjoyed with coffee or tea. Robert showed us to the king bedroom with private bath, both were clean and comfortable, great night sleep and hot shower in the morning.|Barb was up cooking and the breakfast was on the table at 8am, you can feel the joy both Robert and Barb have for hosting and meeting people in their home, we felt so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.|Yes, there are so many small, outdated motels in Cody, Wyoming but my preference would always be Angel's Keep. There is something very magical about staying in an old church with such warm, wonderful hosts.

We where very pleased with our one night stay here. The owners went out of the way to make sure we felt at home. They showed us how to work all the equipment in our room. (TV,Lights, etc) Gave us some nice ideas to where we should go for dinner. Our room was nicely decorated and Very Clean. The next morning it was my Birthday and they had a little surprise for me at breakfast. All the other guest had joined us at the breakfast table. And let me say it was a Really Great Breakfast. And we made some new friends that where staying here from Denmark I believe. Love the location close to downtown about a 5 min walk. Also saw lots of wildlife in front of the B&B.

We enjoyed our stay with Barbara and Robert very much. The room we stayed in was a bit small and the bathroom was right across the hall and also quite small. However, they were very clean and nicely decorated and the bed was VERY comfortable.||Breakfast was absolutely delicious and I could not have eaten another bite, although there was plenty left!||We met a wonderful couple from England and had a great conversation with them over breakfast.||I would stay there again, but probably book the larger room.

In contrast to many other places we visited, Angels' Keep is a really familiar place where you feel at home from the very first moment. It's only short distance from the main street (so a lot of restaurants can be reached easily within walking distance) and in the morning we had the best breakfast we found in the US. While chatting with the housekeeper and her husband, we enjoyed the freshly prepared homemade food which was delicious.||The whole place is beautiful - not only for people who have never slept in an old church... 🙂

When we arrived Barb welcomed us and showed us where everything was, including the homemade biscuits. |We had the queen room, but were shown the bigger one as well. There are hints of Christmas all over the house. But over breakfast we found out that the different rooms have different collections of items - ours had Robs childhood memories and the room next to us was Bards collection. There wasn't a single space that did have an ornament. Our room had a dead fox and antlers which won't appeal to some. Also the bathroom was across the hall. |Breakfast was served for everyone at 8:00. Started with hard boiled egg with the yolk mixed with humus and lemon and sprinkled with dill. This was followed by delicious banana pancakes, sausages and fresh melon. Really good coffee and fresh orange.

We enjoyed our stay here. Robert and Barb were warm and inviting. We had two mornings that we were leaving early (before breakfast was served) and they packed a "to go" breakfast for us. Just an extra special touch. This was our first B&B experience so we didn't know exactly what to expect. It was like staying with family. Thanks!
