We stay here every time we have a Competition in the area. The rooms are welcoming, clean, and spacious! The beds are clean and comfortable! We all love hanging by the pool in the evening. Coffee is always available! Staff is terrific! Their variety of foods for breakfast is on point and delicious! Not to mention a great start to our day! We're already planning our stay for next year by the time we leave!

I recently stayed at American Inn, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, providing fast check-in and all the information I needed. My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern furnishings that gave it a cozy feel.

The amenities were top-notch. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the view from my room was stunning. The hotel’s location was ideal—close to many attractions but still quiet enough for a peaceful retreat.

The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of fresh options, all tastes. Special shoutout to the staff, who were attentive and genuinely friendly throughout my stay.

Overall, American Inn offers outstanding value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Everywhere in hotel is very clean. Bed was comfortable but pillows were lumpy. Did not participate in breakfast but heard not much there but it was a Monday. Hotel is in good location and easy to get to. Nice decor and rooms are good size. Check-in was easy.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. They ask for a physical card at check-in, although I booked the hotel online through booking.com. Check-in took 40 minutes. The room smelled of marijuana. I asked to change rooms, but the second room smelled of mold, which caused my allergies. For breakfast, only sweet yogurt, waffles and cereal, or rotten apples. And the room cost $145 per night. Avoid this place. They should go bankrupt!

The hotel was fine. No frills but fine. I like the size of AmericInns when traveling with a group. And I love that the windows open! HOWEVER, the cleaning agents used at this location were so strongly fragranced that I felt I was suffocating the whole trip. I was literally counting the hours until I left. (I also wish the pillows were less lumpy.)

We recently stayed at this property, and had a horrible experience that I hope no one else ever has to endure.
My husband was attacked in the hallway by a vicious dog. He did nothing to provoke this dog, and the owner did not have full control, despite having the dog on a leash. Fortunately, the bite did not break any skin. He immediately went to the front desk to report the attack, and asked the desk clerk to call the police. When they responded, animal control was not called as the attack did not result in bodily harm.
The owner apologized, but they and the dog were permitted to remain in the hotel. The only thing offered by the desk clerk was to be moved to a room farther away from the offending animal. How is this safe? What would stop the dog from attacking anyone else
As we had events in the area, we stayed in the hotel, but I can tell you I was very nervous anytime we left the room.
I will add that the rooms are ok, the "breakfast" is horrible, no real food except the fruit, and yogurt.
The front desk clerks are seldom visible, and never greet anyone as they come in. Security is non-existent

Hotel has seen some lovely improvements with new interior decor and carpeting. Smelled great in the lobby and hallways too! Professional staff at your service and a tidy hotel all round. Central to shops and restaurants and offering a practical breakfast to start each day. Coffee is always good and on hand in the lobby. Housekeepers are hardworking and deserving of praise. Our room was found to be clean and fresh. Would be glad to stay again without a doubt.

No way never again. Oswego police were called several times. The hotel would not evict guests. 2 sleepless nights. I asked for a reduction they refused. Seriously find somewhere else. Mr Patel wanted to offer me a jacuzzi suite for the regime I requested. Constant parties and loud permanent guests speaking other languages in the hallways.
